Sunshine Hostel Hua Hin
Compare prices
Situated on Soi Hua Hin 92, this well-regarded budget hotel delivers consistently clean, comfortable rooms at a price point that appeals to both backpackers and value-conscious travellers. Guests regularly highlight the spotless condition of the rooms, with standout features including spacious doubles, walk-in showers, white linen, balconies, kettles, and in-room fridges — practical touches that go beyond what many budget properties offer. The location places visitors within easy reach of the beach, local restaurants, and shops, while the surrounding area remains notably quiet for a central address. The atmosphere leans toward the calm and unfussy rather than the social hostel experience, making it a solid choice for couples or solo travellers who want affordability without sacrificing comfort or cleanliness. The 24-hour accessibility suits travellers arriving on varied schedules, including those coming by train or bus from Bangkok, which is a straightforward journey of around three to four hours. Good to know: despite being listed under its original hostel branding, reviews consistently describe it as a budget hotel experience, so travellers should expect private rooms with standard hotel amenities rather than dormitory-style accommodation. Book in advance during Thai public holidays and weekends, as well-priced, well-reviewed properties in Hua Hin fill quickly. The cooler months from November to February offer the most comfortable conditions for exploring the town's beaches and night markets.

Visitor Reviews
A great little hotel! Great price, great location (close to beach & some very useful shops/restaurants), quiet. We especially liked the cleanliness, balcony, kettle & fridge in room, efficient & quiet aircon - and the kitchen sink on the balcony was great (and the outside hose for washing sandy feet!). I’m not sure what the difference between a hostel and a hotel is! This felt like a good hotel to me!
As mentioned by the owner, this is a budgeted hotel. Since this is a two/three star budgeted hotel, so don't expect too much. We think the service is good, all the necessities are covered and the location is good. There are two shopping malls nearby and it is easy to grab (at some places the grab driver do not dare to pick you up due to other taxi drivers). Recommend it.
Perfection! Our double room was absolutely huge and the bathroom had a walk in shower rather than a wet room which was a welcome change. The sheets were beautifully white and clean and was attended to by housekeeping frequently. On par with a 4 star hotel and worth every penny
