Krabi Cha-Da Resort

Set in Ao Nang, one of Krabi's most convenient beach hubs, Krabi Cha-Da Resort offers an outdoor pool, a spa, and elevated sea views that make it a solid base for exploring the region. The resort features rooftop and poolside bars, and select rooms include direct pool access — a standout amenity for guests looking to balance relaxation with easy access to Phi Phi Islands dive trips and Krabi's limestone karst scenery.
The property carries an older, established character that some guests find charming, while others note that certain areas and furnishings show their age. Staff are generally described as attentive, with thoughtful touches such as daily water and fresh towels. That said, prospective guests should be aware that experiences with night staff have been inconsistent, and some rooms have reported minor maintenance concerns such as noise from older wooden bed frames.
Practically speaking, the resort reception operates daily from 09:00 to 18:00 (closing at 17:30 on Saturdays), so travellers arriving late should arrange check-in arrangements in advance. The Ao Nang location puts restaurants, transport links, and boat piers within easy reach. Guests after a room with a view are best served by requesting a mountain-view or sea-view room at the time of booking, as the quality of outlook varies between room types. Visiting during the dry season, roughly November to April, offers the most reliable weather for making the most of the outdoor facilities.

Reviews from Google
The hotel facilities are outstanding, and the overall experience was excellent. The staff were extremely kind and helpful, thoughtfully providing daily essentials like water and fresh towels outside the room even when the Do Not Disturb sign was displayed. The hotel is located on a hill, so be prepared for a bit of walking or light hiking, but it is absolutely worth it. The view from the room is breathtaking and offers a very peaceful and relaxing environment. I truly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, great service, and scenic views.
I stayed at Chada for 5 days and my overall experience is positive. I have the room with pool access and partial mountain view and it was stunning. However, the hotel is has old charm, meaning that its not on par with modern interior. Its decorated with antique chinese influence furniture and doorware. If you are into this vibe, then you will appreciate the room because I loved it. The staff were wonderful and friendly. They do try to help you as much as they can, although I would consider the service as slow. The breakfast variety is not the greatest but they taste good. The location is so convenient. It is further away from Ao Nang beach (20mins down the road) but that means that the hotel is quieter, but still within close distance to 7-11, great eateries and massage spas.
Very bad experience. On 27 Jan around 12:30 AM, the female night staff was extremely rude and unhelpful. Maintenance had taken my adapter the night before due to an electrical issue, but the staff refused to assist and kept saying “I don’t know” instead of checking. My phone battery was 4 percent and she still showed no effort to help. She raised her voice, told me to leave, took my photo, and even talked about the issue with another guest. Very unprofessional. Serious security concern too. I accidentally tried another room and my key card worked. Furniture is old and the room smells. Poor service, poor communication, and not safe. I would rather stay at a budget hotel. Avoid.
