Compare prices
Perched on the cliffs of Koh Samui's southern coast, Silavadee Pool Spa Resort offers a striking combination of dramatic natural scenery and refined tropical accommodation. The resort features infinity pools that appear to merge with the Gulf of Thailand below, alongside a dedicated spa, gulf-view dining, and rooms that include balcony-fitted tub options for a more indulgent stay. A complimentary beach shuttle connects guests to the shoreline, making it a practical as well as scenic base on the island. The atmosphere skews romantic and upscale, drawing a strong following from honeymooners and couples seeking a retreat-style experience. Guests consistently highlight the attentiveness of the staff and the standard of cleanliness throughout the property. Room categories vary, with sea-view options and private balcony tubs representing the more premium end of the offering. The resort also provides welcome packages for special occasions, which past guests have found a thoughtful touch. Families with children are welcome and catered for, though prospective guests seeking a quiet or adults-only environment should factor this in when booking. Visitors are advised to check the resort website directly for current room availability and any ongoing renovation works, as construction activity has occasionally been noted on-site. Given its positioning as a cliffside property, guests with significant mobility requirements may also wish to enquire about accessibility ahead of arrival.

Visitor Reviews
This is truly one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed in my entire life! it felt like paradise. Everything about this resort is absolutely perfect. The place is exceptionally clean, to the highest standards, and extremely elegant in every single detail. You can clearly feel the luxury and care throughout the entire property. The staff are beyond amazing!! genuinely some of the best and most professional people I have ever encountered. Their hospitality, kindness, and attention to detail were outstanding and unforgettable. The private beach is incredibly clean and easily one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen. I stayed with my family in a two-bedroom villa with a private pool, and it was excellent in every way.. spotless, beautifully designed, and absolutely comfortable. Everything was perfect. I honestly wish I had stayed for more days, and I would return without any hesitation.
Lovely place to stay as a couple. Even though some areas of the hotel were under construction, we barely noticed it. The service from the staff was exceptional from beginning to end. Our room and its stunning views were absolutely worth the price. We explored the island with a local guide, so the hotel’s location was never an issue for us. Breakfast was delicious and impressive the noodles, the duck, the eggs, and the salmon were all incredibly fresh and high-quality. The pool and the beach area were perfect for relaxing, and the staff there were just as attentive and friendly. To move around the resort you need to use a buggy, which actually makes things easier. You can request one from phones available throughout the property, and they arrive quickly.
My husband and I spent a week at Silavadee for our honeymoon and it was absolutely amazing! I never leave Google reviews but this place really deserves one. Everything was amazing, from the staff, the room, the food and the facilities. The construction didn’t bother us at all, and we were compensated for the ongoing construction as well. We also took part in their Valentines Day set menu dinner at the Star rooftop, which was absolutely amazing. Special mention to the staff at Sun, Moon and Star who were all so amazing during our entire stay. We are already talking about coming back to Silavadee in the future.

Tips for Visiting Hotels & Resorts
Book Shoulder Season
May–June and September–October offer dramatic discounts (30–50% off peak rates) with fewer crowds. Weather is mixed but rarely a washout — afternoon showers clear quickly.
Compare OTAs and Direct Rates
Always check the hotel's own website after finding a rate on Agoda or Booking.com. Many Thai properties offer a best-rate guarantee or throw in perks like free breakfast when you book direct.
Pool Villa Doesn't Mean Expensive
Private pool villas in Krabi, Hua Hin, and Chiang Mai start around 2,500–4,000 THB/night — a fraction of Bali or Maldives prices. Search specifically for 'pool villa' to surface hidden gems.
