La Moet Phuket
La Moet is a tour and travel agency based in the Chalong area of Phuket, specialising in boat-based experiences that prioritise atmosphere and pace over speed and crowds. Their signature vessel, Champagne, is a characterful, old-style boat that has drawn consistent praise from travellers seeking a more relaxed alternative to the typical speedboat excursions that dominate Phuket's waters. Tours include sunset cruises and full-day snorkelling itineraries, with hotel pick-up included as standard. What sets La Moet apart is the experience on the water itself. Reviewers frequently highlight the welcoming crew, the spacious and characterful boat, and the unhurried approach to visiting snorkelling spots and scenic anchorages. The Sun and Sunset Tour is a popular option, combining daytime swimming and snorkelling with an evening on the water, and the crew demonstrates flexibility in finding sheltered spots when conditions require it. Practically speaking, La Moet operates Monday through Friday from 10:00 to 18:00 and on weekends from 10:00 to 16:00, so those wanting to consult with staff in person or make bookings are best served visiting on a weekday. Booking in advance is advisable, particularly during peak season between November and April, as the limited capacity of a single vessel means tours can fill up quickly. More information and booking options are available at lamoet.com.

Visitor Reviews
The best cruise company if you are looking for a boat experience in Phuket! The boat itself is fantastic, authetntic, "old-school" in the best way, you immediately feel welcomed and relaxed when you get onboard. The staff is lovely and the service is just great: you will get delicious fruit juices and snacks all the way (mainly FRESH and sweet fruits), even pancakes at one point and then on top of all this, you get a super thai dinner which is cooked on the boat freshly by the staff during the journey. During all these, you will have two really nice, peaceful and lovely snorkeling points where you can watch the wonders of nature in complete relaxation. And the "cherry on the top" of the day, is the beautiful sunset after/during dinner that is just priceless, with really nice cheerful reagge music in the background. The staff is like a family, really kind and caring, you will feel secure during the whole event. We went right the next day after our arrival to "arrive in mindset" to this Paradise of Phuket and it was a 10/10 decision. Even our teenage duaghters loved it, which is a big result. ;-) Thank you very much for this unforgetable experience! :-)
Found this boat trip after a lot of research. I didn’t want a speedboat. I didn’t want to rush between crowded stops. This was a great choice. The boat is spacious and full of character. It’s an old fishing boat with charm. There’s a top deck for sun and space below for shade. Easy to move around and settle in. They serve food and snacks throughout the day. Coffee available all day, which I appreciated. We stopped at Hong Beach. Crowded but good for a quick swim. Another swim stop in open water. The rest of the day is cruising. Calm and relaxing. Exactly what they advertise. I would have liked one quieter beach stop, but overall it delivered. When I boarded, I realized I was the only non-Swedish guest. But everyone was welcoming and made an effort to include me in conversations. Good communication before the trip. Prompt replies. Friendly service. One of the better boat options in this area. I’d recommend it.
Our travel agent, Spies, recommended this trip. We went on the sunset cruise and it was a brilliant experience!! From the pick up at our hotel all through the afternoon and evening, we were in the best of hands! The boat, crew and general atmosphere onboard were kind and calm, clearly the crew wanted the guests should only focus on relaxing and enjoying the day! The snorkeling sites were good - a member of the crew was in the water and one on the boat where very attendant to all passengers what ever difficulties. The snacks , food and drinks were also great! On top of all that - plenty of room onboard for both sun and shade. Can highly recommend La Möet for a calm and relaxing day!

Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
