Dark House Adventure
Dark House Adventure is a haunted escape room attraction in the Vichit area of Phuket, offering visitors a genuinely frightening experience built around live actors, atmospheric room design, and hands-on puzzles. Unlike standard escape rooms, the scares here are described by visitors as intense and immersive rather than gimmicky, with the experience beginning before you even step through the door. Guests work through multiple themed rooms, solving puzzles that are challenging but accessible, while actors deliver scares at close range. One thoughtful option sets this venue apart: visitors can choose whether actors are permitted to touch them, and a less intense version of the experience is available for those who prefer a lower fright level. This flexibility makes it a workable choice for mixed groups with varying appetites for horror. Good to know: registration at the start can take some time, so arriving without a tight schedule is advisable. There are no listed opening hours or a website available at time of writing, so contacting the venue directly before visiting is recommended to confirm session times, group size requirements, and current pricing. The address is 34/18 Moo 3, Chaofatawantok, Vichit, Phuket 83000.

Visitor Reviews
Hands down one of the best escape rooms we’ve ever done. Properly terrifying, not cheesy scary but full-on heart-pounding, adrenaline-spiking fear. The atmosphere was intense from the moment we walked in, and the scares were smart, relentless, and perfectly timed. Even the adults were on edge the entire time, and that’s saying something. Our teenage boys absolutely loved it, equal parts screaming, laughing, and completely locked in. The puzzles were clever, the set design was incredible, and the actors took it to another level. If you’re even thinking about doing a horror escape room, do this one. Epic experience, unforgettable, and worth every second. Highly recommend.
Amazing experience! The game starts the moment you enter — even the sign at the entrance saying “Don’t knock, the door will open when it’s time” was scary 😂 The staff did an outstanding job with the scares, everything felt so real. And after scaring you badly, they even give beverages at the end to help you calm down 😅also u get a video at the end One of the best and most fun experiences to try in Phuket. Totally worth it!
So scary! The actors are amazing! You have a choice of them being able to touch you or not. You can also opt for a session that is less scary. There are many rooms and fun puzzles. Everything is very immersive. It is so scary! All the jump scares are great and the atmosphere is well decorated and designed. So worth it!
Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
