DRC Dirt Racing - Company Pai
Tucked along Rat Damrong Road in Pai, DRC Dirt Racing offers guided dirt bike tours through the surrounding mountains, jungle trails, and river crossings of Mae Hong Son province. Owner Noom leads most tours personally, bringing deep local knowledge of the area's terrain — from muddy climbs and rocky tracks to scenic village routes that few travellers see on foot or by scooter. Tours are available as full-day experiences and can accommodate solo riders or small groups, with guides provided for those who need support on the trails. Visitors consistently highlight the combination of genuine adrenaline and stunning natural scenery, and the informal, welcoming atmosphere makes riders feel more like they are out with friends than on a structured commercial tour. The equipment is reported to be in solid condition, and guides are praised for their ability to match the pace and difficulty to each rider's skill level. DRC is best suited to riders with at least some dirt bike experience, though guides are on hand to help less confident riders build skills along the way. The shop is open daily from 9am to 7pm, making it easy to arrange a tour on arrival in Pai. Prices are noted by visitors as being on the higher side but consistently described as worth the cost given the quality of the experience. No website is available, so dropping in or asking at your accommodation in Pai to arrange contact is the most reliable approach.

Visitor Reviews
intermediate rider I went with the owner to a full day ride (just us two) and it was amazing. If you know how to ride dirt bikes well this is the place for you.. Mud, rocks, hill climbing and river crossing- The bikes were little small for me at start, but the owner adjusted everything I wanted and even more. 3800 bhat is a fair price for what you getting (helmet, boots, knee and elbow pads, chest guard and full suit) 10/10 best place and views in Thailand.
Had a day tour with dirt bikes around the village with two of my friend and two guides. It was a little expensive but definitely worth it. It was an experience that I will never forget. The views were amazing and the guides were very helpful. Highly recommended
YOU HAVE TO GO THERE! Go and ask a day guide with Noom. He’s the best! A well experienced rider that knows how to transfer his knowledge to others and give you a perfect adrenaline ride in the beautiful views of the border with Thailand and Myanmar.

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
