LAND PARK FARM Playtime with animals friends
Most Krabi itineraries are all beach, boat, beach. This is the antidote for anyone travelling with small children who've had enough of sand. It's a working petting setup in the countryside at Sai Thai, a short drive from Krabi town, with goats, doves, geese and fish you can get properly close to, plus bigger and stranger residents: an ostrich, reptiles, lions, and dogs the owner brought back from an event in Turkey. The owner tends to be around and happy to talk about his animals, which is a lot of what people warm to here. One reviewer put entry at 150 baht, and there are drinks and shady spots to sit.
I'd flag the split in opinion honestly. Plenty of families describe big enclosures, staff feeding the animals repeatedly and a clean, safe site. But one visitor reported cramped ostrich cages, rabbits on wire racks, a dead bird and lion cubs kept without their mother. If animal welfare matters to you, go in with your eyes open and decide for yourself.

Reviews from Google
I had an absolutely amazing experience at this zoo in Thailand. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. The owner is truly a wonderful person — kind, welcoming, and clearly passionate about the animals and the place he has built. You can really feel the heart behind it. The variety of animals was incredible. I got to see majestic lions up close, a beautiful ostrich, fascinating reptiles, and even unique dogs that were brought from a Turkish event — something I definitely didn’t expect! Every corner had something interesting and surprising. What made the experience stand out even more was the atmosphere. It didn’t feel commercial or rushed — it felt personal, warm, and authentic. You can tell the animals are cared for, and the owner takes pride in giving visitors a meaningful experience. If you’re in Thailand and looking for something special and memorable, I highly recommend visiting. It was one of the highlights of my trip.
A lovely experience with the friendliest animals. The staff were absolutely wonderful, and the owner went out of his way to chat with us and share his knowledge about the animals. The location is beautiful, with plenty of spots to sit back and relax. Excellent value for money – highly recommended!
If it would be just a regular farm with goats, doves, fish and goose to watch and pet it would have been fun. BUT if you care for health and proper surroundings for animals you should not support this place. Ostriches are kept in way too small cages and show clear signs of sickness, rabbits have to live on wire racks, we saw a dead budgie on the floor of a birds cage and maybe the worst of all: two lion baby's without the mother or the pack! It hurts seeing this.
