LAND PARK FARM Playtime with animals friends
Set in the countryside of Sai Thai Subdistrict just outside Krabi town, this small petting zoo offers visitors the chance to get up close with a range of animals including goats, doves, fish, and geese. The focus is on direct, unhurried interaction rather than passive observation, making it a genuine alternative to the beach-heavy itineraries that dominate most Krabi trips. The owner is frequently present and noted by visitors for being welcoming and knowledgeable, adding a personal quality to the experience that larger attractions rarely offer. The atmosphere is relaxed and rural, with an outdoor setting that feels low-key and unscripted. Families with young children tend to find it well-suited to their needs, as the animals are approachable and the pace is gentle. As with any animal attraction, experiences can vary — most visitors report the animals appearing well cared for, though at least one reviewer has raised concerns about conditions, so those with strong views on animal welfare may wish to assess this on arrival. Good to know: Specific opening hours and pricing are not listed online, so it is worth contacting the farm directly or checking locally before making the trip. Wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and casual clothing suitable for an outdoor farm environment. Visiting earlier in the day is generally recommended, when animals tend to be more active and the site is quieter.

Visitor Reviews
I had an absolutely amazing experience at this zoo in Thailand. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. The owner is truly a wonderful person — kind, welcoming, and clearly passionate about the animals and the place he has built. You can really feel the heart behind it. The variety of animals was incredible. I got to see majestic lions up close, a beautiful ostrich, fascinating reptiles, and even unique dogs that were brought from a Turkish event — something I definitely didn’t expect! Every corner had something interesting and surprising. What made the experience stand out even more was the atmosphere. It didn’t feel commercial or rushed — it felt personal, warm, and authentic. You can tell the animals are cared for, and the owner takes pride in giving visitors a meaningful experience. If you’re in Thailand and looking for something special and memorable, I highly recommend visiting. It was one of the highlights of my trip.
Been there today with the family and after having not so good exepriences with such places in Malaysia, we were so positively surprised. The animals were so taken care of and had really big cages, perhaps only the rabbits near goats could have had bigger. But the staff absolutely loves animals and we saw them feeding all of them multiple times. The location is great, the drinks are great and the price (150bath) to enter the field is really reasonable🫶 one of the best places we’ve been to! 🤌
A lovely experience with the friendliest animals. The staff were absolutely wonderful, and the owner went out of his way to chat with us and share his knowledge about the animals. The location is beautiful, with plenty of spots to sit back and relax. Excellent value for money – highly recommended!
Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
