Takiab Thai cooking class in Hua Hin
Takiab Thai Cooking Class offers a personalised, hands-on culinary experience in Hua Hin, led by chef Preaw, whose deep knowledge of Thai cuisine and patient teaching style have earned consistently glowing feedback from visitors. Each session focuses on preparing three authentic Thai dishes, guiding participants through the fundamentals of flavour, preparation, and the art of making paste from scratch — skills designed to be genuinely recreatable at home. Visitors consistently note that they leave feeling confident enough to bring the dishes to their own kitchens. Classes run seven days a week between 08:00 and 20:00, offering good flexibility for travellers building around other plans. The most amazing cooking experience! Preaw is a wonderful knowledgeable chef that adapts to your every need. It was such a great experience to learn to cook 3 dishes we have tasted so many times but had no idea how ! . Red chicken curry with pineapple . Clear and dark noodle soap . Steamed sea bass Don't miss this opportunity if you can, Preaw will let you know what ingredients can be substituted in your country and you will learn from scratch, step by step, until voila you have a wonderful Thai dish before you :) Kop khun ka, kop khun ka, kop khun ka !! ❤️ Laura and Juan
An absolutely amazing experience! The host was excellent at explaining everything and very patient and pedagogical. We made delicious recipes that we can recreate at home, and she also made it possible with vegetarian versions of the dishes, which was a big plus. The atmosphere was super authentic and lovely. I would highly recommend this to everyone.
What a delightful experience. Thanks to Preaw, we are fully equipped to dazzle family and friends with 3 delicious Thai dishes. It's all about the prep and the paste. I can see my husband and I taking the time to create new dishes for guests. Thank you, Preaw, for sharing your recipes and making it easy to follow your directions. Highly recommend!

Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
