Simply Bistro Hua Hin
Simply Bistro Hua Hin is a charming, family-run eatery tucked away in the Khao Ta Kiab area of Hua Hin, earning a loyal following among both locals and visiting families. The bistro is particularly known for its generous breakfast menu, with dishes like the "big bomb breakfast" arriving exactly as pictured — freshly cooked and well-presented. The menu spans a wide range of options, and the food leans toward mild, approachable flavours, though staff are happy to accommodate requests for extras like chili in fish sauce on the side. The atmosphere is relaxed and unpretentious, with both indoor and outdoor seating available. Service is consistently noted as warm and attentive, with staff going out of their way to make families with young children feel comfortable — from producing toys to crafting miniature smoothies for little ones. Prices are reasonable, making it an easy choice for repeat visits throughout a holiday stay. Simply Bistro is open seven days a week from 09:00 to 17:00, making it well-suited for breakfast or a leisurely lunch. Note that Tuesday appears to be the only day the bistro is closed, so it is worth keeping that in mind when planning a visit. Given its popularity with families, arriving earlier in the day is a practical way to secure a table without a wait.

Visitor Reviews
A perfect family run bistro, great food and so many dishes to choose from, excellent breakfast what you see in the photos is what you get and cooked to perfection. Big breakfast include coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice. Will be a regular here even though it's a 5 min drive from Hua Hin.
We were on a family holiday and visited this bistro many times. Food was superb and service was even better always. They were really friendly and helpful with the kids also. We will be definitely coming back. Best Regards. Matti, Tiia, Isla (6y) and Nuutti (almost 2y)🙂
We had a very nice lunch here. Prices are very reasonable and food was delicious. Not spicy, but I asked for chili in fish sauce on the side. Nice outdoor and indoor seating. Staff was very friendly

Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
