Feast Thailand Food & Sight Seeing Tours

4.9(123 reviews)

Based in Hua Hin, this tour operator specialises in guided food and sightseeing experiences that take visitors beyond tourist-facing restaurants and into the street stalls, local markets, and neighbourhood eateries that define everyday life in this coastal town. Tours such as "Eat Like a Local" and the night food tour are designed for curious travellers who want genuine cultural context alongside their culinary discoveries, with guides known for their warmth, strong English, and deep knowledge of regional food traditions. The "Taste of Phetchaburi" tour also extends the experience beyond Hua Hin itself, exploring the flavours of the wider region. Visitors consistently highlight the quality of the guides — particularly Cream and Belle — as central to what makes these tours memorable. Expect a walking-focused experience that moves between multiple stops, with dishes that even seasoned food travellers are unlikely to have encountered before. The format suits both solo travellers and small groups, and the relaxed pace allows time for questions and conversation along the way. Tours run seven days a week from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, making them easy to slot into most itineraries. Booking in advance through feastthailand.com/food-tours/ is strongly recommended to confirm availability, discuss dietary requirements, and find out which tour options suit your schedule. Comfortable walking shoes are advisable, as tours cover multiple locations on foot throughout the town.

Visitor Reviews

One of the best experiences we had in our three weeks in Thailand was the Taste of Phetchaburi tour with our tour guide, Cream! (And this is truly impressive because we’ve had so many wonderful experiences). We’re foodies, and relatively adventurous - and we were curious about the broad range of Thai cuisine that we weren’t exposed to at the restaurants we were eating at - which mostly catered to tourists. And we had heard that Phetchaburi - the city of three tastes - was recognized as a UNESCO gastronomy town, so we were curious to understand what made this town and cuisine so unique. Cream took us on a whirlwind tour of foods at different food stalls, markets, sidewalk vendors and proper restaurants - even a palm sugar farm. We learned so much about Thai cuisine, which has enriched our appreciation of the dishes we already knew, broadened our exposure to so many dishes we’d never tried, and helped us understand the different ingredients that make Thai cuisine so tasty. She answered all of our questions - not just about food, but also about culture and religion. It was an amazing experience. I highly encourage anyone considering a food tour with Feast Thailand to book it now!

The night food tour was my favorite tour in Thailand & a top tour of the 37 countries I’ve visited! Cream is an AMAZING guide - so friendly & full of information. She made us feel super comfortable with her, the market & the food. Best food I’ve had in Thailand hands down - I’m adventurous but I wouldn’t have known about or tried most of these dishes without her. And we ate a TON. I actually went back to the market days after the tour and ate at many of the same vendors she took us to - they were so good. Also shoutout to our driver who was great. HIGHLY recommend!

Today we did the ‘Eat Like A Local’ food tour. OMG!!!! I have no words to describe this culinary journey. We consider ourselves serious foodies and there was not one dish we tried that we had even heard of before. At least 15 tastings at 5 different places. The delicious food just kept coming!!! Our guide today was Belle. She was just so incredibly knowledgeable about the Thai food and we learnt so much! If you are in Hua Hin, do yourself a favour and reach out to Leigh from Feast Thailand. Her tours are like no other we have ever done and we highly recommend them

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours

Vet Elephant Sanctuaries

Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.

Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide

These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.

Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning

Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
