Tuk Tours
Tuk Tours is a well-regarded tour agency located on Soi Dechanuchit in Hua Hin, offering a range of organised day trips and excursions for travellers looking to explore beyond the beach resort town. Popular itineraries include the River Kwai tour, Bangkok day trips, and nature-focused experiences that combine forest walks with boat rides — the latter drawing particular praise from visitors for its length and scenery.
What sets Tuk Tours apart is the personal, attentive service that reviewers consistently highlight. Guides are noted for their strong language skills and local knowledge, with at least one guide reported to speak fluent German — a useful detail for European travellers. Transport is described as comfortable, and the agency handles logistics end-to-end, including hotel arrangements when needed. The operator behind the agency, Martin, is mentioned by name in reviews for his hands-on approach to putting together tailored itineraries.
The office is open seven days a week from 09:00 to 20:00, making it convenient to drop in or arrange a tour even on weekends or public holidays. Travellers are advised to check the agency's website in advance for available tour options and to book ahead during peak holiday periods, as popular routes like the River Kwai can fill quickly. This is a practical choice for families, couples, or solo travellers based in Hua Hin who want a guided experience with reliable transport and knowledgeable local guides.

Reviews from Google
Had a fantastic experience on two tours with Tuk Tours while holidaying with my family in Hua Hin. Firstly, we went on the River Kwai tour and it was fantastic from start to finish. We were picked up early from our accommodation and the day was action packed from start to finish visiting a cemetery, museum, boat trip, walking on the bridge, lovely buffet lunch and train ride. Excellent tour guide and driver! Tuk Tours also organised a private tour to Khao Lom Muak on the Wing 5 military unit as we particularly wanted to visit. We had an absolutely fantastic day and a very attentive driver. Seeing and feeding the Dusky Langurs was a particular highlight of the day. We will be back in Hua Hin next year and will definitely be using Tuk Tours for day trips again!!
A great and trustworthy tour agent! Martin arranged our mini-trip so we got to spend our last day in Thailand doing a nice tour in Bangkok with a great tour. The hotel he arranged for us was also great.
The walk thru the forrest was nice, but what really made the visit was the boat ride. The boat ride was quite long.

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Popular Activities Online
Booking platforms like GetYourGuide give you instant confirmation and, on many activities, free cancellation — and you can read recent reviews before committing. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
