The Raintree Spa Phuket
Tucked away on Montree Road in Phuket Town's Talad-Yai district, this spa has built a reputation as a quietly distinctive wellness retreat away from the tourist-heavy beach areas. The setting blends a slightly vintage aesthetic with a green tropical garden, creating an atmosphere that feels unhurried and genuinely restorative rather than purely commercial. It caters to both first-time visitors and returning regulars, and has proven versatile enough to host group events such as bridal spa parties, with staff noted for their flexibility in arranging special occasions.
Guests can expect a range of massage and therapeutic treatments delivered by friendly, attentive therapists who are willing to adjust pressure and technique to individual preferences. The space carries a Sino-Portuguese character consistent with Phuket Town's architectural heritage, and the garden surroundings add to the sense of calm. The spa is open daily from 10:00 to 21:00, making evening appointments a practical option after a day of sightseeing.

Truly a hidden gem in Phuket. I’ve been to many massage shops and spas here, and this one really stands out. Exceptional massage—deeply relaxing, with a clean space and a slightly vintage feel that’s calming and soothing. The therapists are highly experienced; they truly understand the body and know exactly where to press and focus for complete relaxation. On top of that, the price is very reasonable for the quality you get—amazing value for money. Honestly, I can’t praise this place enough. Highly highly recommend 👍🏻
Relaxing massage place in Phuket town in Chino style surrounding with green tropical garden. Nice staffs and Therapists, very recommended!
I used to come here so often, today i was coming back after a very long time. They put me to a shared room with partition, and the client next door was in a phone call for both speaker and ring tone on, and keep in talking to the therapist. I suddenly telling my therapist to do something as i didnt feel relaxing anymore, she was smiling and do nothing until I asked her to stop massaging me as i did not want to continue, she ended up shouted out to her therapist colleague to turn down the voice, so I continued another 1 hour with bad mood. Suggest the Spa to train and inform therapist how to handle this kind of the client’s behavior, otherwise people will not return to your service.

Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
