Tarn Tara Spa ธารธารา สปา
Tarn Tara Spa sits along Chaofah Road in the Muang district of Phuket, offering a tranquil retreat from the island's busier streets. The spa is known for its personalised approach, with staff who tailor treatments to individual needs rather than delivering a one-size-fits-all experience. Visitors are welcomed with tea on arrival before being guided through to the spa area, where the decor and overall ambience are consistently noted for being calm and well-presented. The team is described as genuinely attentive, with a particular strength in therapeutic massage that addresses specific areas of tension or discomfort. The experience suits a wide range of visitors, from couples and families to solo travellers looking for proper rest and recovery. Reviewers highlight how thorough and unhurried the treatments feel, with staff taking care to cover the whole body and check in on individual comfort throughout. Those dealing with sun exposure after days at Phuket's beaches have found the treatments especially restorative. Good to know: The spa opens daily from 10am to 7pm, making it straightforward to work into a flexible travel schedule. Booking ahead is advisable during Phuket's peak tourist season, particularly for weekend slots. The spa is located on Chaofah Road near Chalong, which is more easily reached by taxi or rideshare than on foot. Visitor Reviews
We visited Tarn Tara Spa and it was a wonderful relaxing morning, on arrival at reception we were given tea, then taken through to the spa area. We showered put on fresh relaxing clothes shorts, went to the steam room, after that we went into the jacuzzi, then through to the massage room, we had a full thai massage, feet, legs, arms, chest, back, and head, total treatment was 2 1/2 hours, we went back to reception and were given sandwiches and salad and a hot drink. Very well worth the money and whole experience, don't go for cheaper alternatives this place is very worth the money 👌 👍 😀
Tarn Tara gave me the best spa experience in Phuket!! From the moment I walk through the spa, I found that this place is very calm, peaceful and well decorated. The owner and staff took a really good care of every customers. I had scrub and oil massage for 2 hours. It was literally the most relaxing hours of my life. The product line they use is amazing, left my skin, feeling so soft and glowing. I can’t recommend this spa highly enough. Just go—you deserve it and you won’t regret it. I will definitely go back there ❤️😊
Excellent staff and the ambience is too relaxing. The staff is well trained and knows which point to be addressed. The best part is that everything is customised as per the need of an individual. Loved it!! Would like to visit again 😊

Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
