Atmanjai
Situated in the quieter southern reaches of Phuket near Rawai beach, Atmanjai operates as a dedicated healing and detox centre rather than a conventional spa. The facility combines detox programs, yoga, fitness, and therapeutic treatments within a resort setting, drawing visitors who are serious about resetting their health and wellbeing. Repeat guests are notably common, with many returning multiple times specifically for the structured detox programs and the atmosphere that supports genuine transformation. Visitors can expect a calm, beach-adjacent environment where the emphasis is on mindful movement and restorative practices rather than high-intensity workouts. The programs are designed to work alongside considered meal choices, and the resident team — frequently praised by name in guest feedback — appears central to the experience. The combination of lodging, fitness facilities, yoga studio, and treatment services means guests can immerse themselves fully without needing to leave the grounds. Good to know: Atmanjai functions as both a stay-in retreat and a day-visit wellness destination, but those considering a detox program should book well in advance, particularly during peak season. As opening hours and program availability are not consistently published online, contacting the centre directly before planning travel is strongly recommended. The Rawai location is reachable by taxi or tuk-tuk from most parts of Phuket and sits away from the busier tourist corridors, making it better suited to travellers seeking a quieter, more purposeful stay.

Visitor Reviews
I recently completed a detox program at Atmanjai in Rawai, Phuket, and it was truly a life-changing experience. I stepped into the program with a lot of apprehension, unsure of what to expect and whether I’d be able to handle it. From day one, the Atmanjai team was incredibly supportive, reassuring, and attentive. Thanks to them, what I thought would be a tough journey turned into an absolute cakewalk. The detox results have been nothing short of phenomenal. I feel like a totally new person—lighter, clearer, more energized, and deeply reset. The program itself is simple, effective, and very immersive. Each day is thoughtfully structured and filled with a wide range of activities designed to support a true 360-degree detox: from treatments and supplements to classes, talks, and gentle movement. Atmanjai’s focus on genuine, holistic detox is evident in every detail, and the caring environment makes it easy to fully commit to the process. A heartfelt thank you to the entire Atmanjai team, and a special thanks to Tang for the guidance and support throughout my stay. Highly recommended to anyone serious about transforming their health.
I want to thank Izzy and the entire Atmanjai team 🙏 for a truly unique and special experience. The magic of the Atmanjai Healing & Detox Center in Phuket is, first and foremost, its people. From the very first moment on day one until check-out after five days of detox, I was surrounded by glowing energy — staff and guests as one. From the smiling lady who prepares the Colima room, to the amazing reception team, the therapists (I had fantastic Thai massages), and truly everyone you meet along the way — the warmth is everywhere. Everyone is so welcoming, caring, and professional at the same time. A very special thank you to you, Izzy — the heart and guru of the center — for your encouragement, support, and that final loving push that helped me fully commit, enjoy, and truly benefit from this incredible detox journey. I’m leaving feeling fresh, light, and happy — both in mind and body — and I already can’t wait to come back (maybe for 7 days next time 😉). And I must add: I absolutely loved your yoga sessions. Through them, I discovered another beautiful side of you. Thank you 🙏 Kurb ❤️ Gadi
This was our 4th trip to Atmanjai, we've barely been back and are already thinking of when to go next! We love Atmanjai, the whole process from booking to check out and post check out is amazing. Everyone is so kind and gracious. The programs are tailored to one's physical, emotional and spiritual requirement. The staff is always present to guide in a warm and friendly manner. If I had the time, I'd love to spend 4 weeks at a go there. I'd like to especially mention Izzy, Tang, Maria our yoga and HIIT trainer, and of course Tuk! Fon gives the best massage 😊! The meals are wholesome, tasty and well balanced. The location is sublime! All in all, my favourite place to go to reset my body and mind!

Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
