The V Spa

5.0(100 reviews)

Tucked within The Vijitt Resort in Rawai on Phuket's quieter southern coast, The V Spa offers a genuinely immersive wellness experience that goes beyond a standard hotel spa. Guests are welcomed with fresh lemongrass tea before treatments, setting the tone for the attentive, unhurried service that runs throughout each visit. The therapists are consistently praised for their professionalism and gentle technique, with standout treatments including Swedish massage, aromatic hot oil massage, and couple packages — making it a popular choice for honeymooners and those seeking a restorative break from sightseeing. The spa environment itself is described by visitors as peaceful and beautiful, complemented by staff who create a calm, serene atmosphere from arrival to departure. Named therapists including Tangmo, Kwan, and Aew have received individual recognition in guest feedback, reflecting the personalised approach to each treatment. The surrounding resort setting in Rawai — south of Phuket's busier tourist areas — adds an extra layer of seclusion that suits those prioritising genuine relaxation. Good to know: The V Spa is located within The Vijitt Resort, so non-resort guests should confirm access and availability by contacting the resort directly before visiting. Specific opening hours are not listed online, so calling ahead is recommended. Booking treatments in advance is advisable, particularly for couple sessions and during the high season between November and April, when demand across Phuket's better-regarded spas tends to increase.

Visitor Reviews

The V Spa at the Vijitt Resort is a tranquil, peaceful and beautiful experience. Cha and Tangmo were very welcoming. The back, shoulder and head massage was perfect. Big thank you to Tangmo for a perfect massage during which the pressure really opened up my lower back and shoulders. The whole experience was lovely with a short foot scrub to begin with followed by treatment and tea to finish. The spa is well designed and maintained with serene music to really help calm your senses. I highly recommend the spa to anyone who stays at Vijitt.

We had such an incredible and lovely experience with a 90 minute Swedish massage (highly recommend this one!) the spa is literally perfect and the staff are so professional and serene. You can hear the birds while you get treated, surrounded in natural beauty. We had Cha and Ji as our therapists. You should request them. We get massages all the time & this was simply one of the best in our lives.

Staff here are amazing! Very friendly from beginning to end. You are welcomed with a fresh lemon grass tea. Then taken to get the treatment you choose. Kwan was my Masseuse and she was gentle and kind. They end your visit with a hot tea and a yummy cookie. They made me feel comfortable and welcomed. Thank you!

Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas

Learn Wat Pho First

Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.

Communicate Pressure Preferences

Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.

Book Longer Sessions

A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
