Samui Yoga

5.0(94 reviews)

Samui Yoga offers yoga sessions directly on the beach in the Bo Put area of Koh Samui, combining structured practice with an open-air ocean setting. The studio is best known for its sunrise classes, which draw visitors looking to start their day with movement, calm, and a genuinely scenic backdrop. Instructor Preeya is the consistent highlight across visitor experiences, praised for her warm energy, clear instruction, and attentiveness to individual needs and physical limitations from the very start of each session. Classes are structured to accommodate mixed ability levels, making Samui Yoga a comfortable choice for both complete beginners and those with an established practice. The flow of each session is well-paced, and the natural surroundings — ocean views, early morning light — contribute meaningfully to the overall atmosphere rather than simply serving as decoration. Communication ahead of classes is noted as reliable and responsive, which helps first-time visitors feel prepared. Those planning to attend should reach out directly to arrange bookings, as no website is currently listed. Arriving for the early morning session is recommended to take full advantage of the sunrise setting, and lightweight, breathable clothing suited to outdoor conditions is a practical consideration given the beachfront location.

Visitor Reviews

We had the most incredible sunrise yoga session with Preeya. Her communication ahead of the class was great, her energy throughout our session was amazing, and our view was such a bonus! Wish we were in Koh Samui longer, would have definitely liked to book more classes if we could have.

Yoga at the beach with Preeya was an unique experience ✨ She is a lovely teacher and can explain very well. She addressed individual needs and asked about physical limitations at the beginning. I really enjoyed it!!

I was so happy to have yoga class with Preeya in the early morning class on the beach. Good vibes and positive energy were given to my soul. The class was amazing and not too difficult even I'm a new beginner.

Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas

Learn Wat Pho First

Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.

Communicate Pressure Preferences

Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.

Book Longer Sessions

A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
