Breathflow Connection
Breathflow Connection is a freediving and breathwork centre based in the Lamai area of Koh Samui, offering guided instruction for beginners and those looking to deepen their practice. The facility is led by instructor Diego, whose expertise in apnoea diving and breathing techniques has earned consistent praise from first-time divers and returning students alike. Courses take place both on land and in the waters of the Thai Gulf, combining classroom fundamentals with open-water experience.
First-time freedivers make up a significant portion of visitors, and the teaching approach is widely noted for its patience, safety focus, and attention to individual progress. Students frequently highlight feeling supported throughout the entire course, from initial breathing exercises to underwater dives. The Lamai location provides a quieter base compared to the busier northern parts of Koh Samui, which suits the calm, focused nature of the instruction on offer.

Reviews from Google
I had the great pleasure to experience for the first time apnoea diving with Diego. It was such an incredible and memorable adventure. His knowledge and expertise makes you feel super safe and the trust he transmits you, makes you feel comfortable to go even deeper than you would think of. We spent 2 days in the water, covering all topics and familiarising with the deep ocean. We were in total 3 people each day, the perfect size group to learn from each other, but also for Diego to invest in each of us properly. The last day, his partner came along and did some great content creation. A nice peace of memory to hold onto and share here. I can only recommend this and I definitely got hooked.
Diego runs an incredible Free Diving course. I would recommend his free diving instruction or breathing classes to absolutely anyone. During our entry level free diving class we were lucky enough to have two instructors for just three students. The second instructor Ilias was quite skilled and did an amazing job of coaching me through my equalization challenges. I’m level one certified now and I can wait to return to these guys for advanced! Thank you!!
Awesome course. Diego was amazing, first time I’d ever done free diving. Diego was extremely motivating and attentive. He provided full guidance the entire time and made me feel incredibly safe during the dives. I would highly recommend this course!

Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
