Big C Supercenter Central Marina Outlet

4.4(6,040 reviews)

If you're self-catering in Pattaya for more than a couple of nights, this is where your food budget goes furthest. Two floors, a full hypermarket on the ground level, and prices that make the convenience stores near the beach look silly. Fresh produce, dairy, meat, seafood, bakery, plus clothing, household bits and electronics. The local Thai brands are the fun part, and they're what I'd buy as gifts to take home rather than anything from a souvenir shop.

Upstairs the outlet stores are the draw for a lot of people, Nike and Puma among them. Layout is clean and easy to walk, which matters when you're carrying bags. The one recurring gripe is checkout: the cashiers move fast, but there aren't enough tills open when it's busy. A weekday morning is a much calmer experience than a Saturday afternoon or high-season evening.

Big C Supercenter Central Marina Outlet (บิ๊กซี พัทยา มารีน่า) is definitely my favorite mall on the strip! The whole place is clean, modern, and very well organized, which makes shopping here really comfortable and stress-free. It’s super convenient having a full Big C supermarket right on the ground floor — perfect for grabbing groceries and daily essentials all in one stop. What really makes this place stand out for me though are the outlet stores. The Nike and Puma outlets are amazing, offering premium quality items at very affordable prices. You can find great deals without compromising on style or performance. Overall, it’s a fantastic spot for both everyday shopping and scoring branded items at outlet prices. Highly recommended if you’re in Pattaya!

Big C is a great place for budget shopping and groceries. You get everything under one roof — fresh food, household items, snacks, gifts, and clothes. Prices are affordable and there are many local brands to try. Good food court and plenty of seating. Very convenient place for tourists and locals.

Very large selection of merchandise over two floors. I am here regularly as I live nearby. The cashiers are very quick but there are not enough of them so reducing to four stars.

Tips for Visiting Markets & Shopping

Haggle at Markets, Not Malls

Prices at market stalls are negotiable — start at 50–60% of the asking price and meet in the middle. Fixed-price shops and malls don't haggle. Smile and keep it friendly; aggressive bargaining is considered rude.

Arrive Early or Late

Vendors believe the first sale of the day is lucky — you'll often get a better deal if you arrive right when the market opens. Late in the evening, sellers may also discount to avoid packing unsold goods.

Be Cautious with Tailors

Bangkok has excellent tailors, but also many tourist traps. Avoid anyone offering suspiciously cheap suits or who approaches you on the street. Ask your hotel for recommendations, read reviews, and always get two fittings.
