Barfunk Phuket
Sitting at the heart of Patong's nightlife strip, this bar and club on Bangla Road draws a mixed crowd looking for a well-designed space with good music and a social atmosphere. Visitors note the stylish interior, air conditioning, and attentive staff as standout features, and the venue holds up well whether you're dropping in for an afternoon drink or staying deep into the night. Drinks are reasonably priced for the area, with local beer available at affordable rates and a range of other options on offer. The venue operates as both a bar and club, with DJ performances typically happening later in the evening. A VIP table option exists near the DJ booth, though some visitors have found the pricing for reserved areas less compelling given what's included. A few practical things to keep in mind: a cover charge has been reported on some nights when a DJ is scheduled, so it's worth checking the website at barfunkphuket.com or confirming on arrival to avoid surprises. Minimum card charges may also apply, so carrying some cash is a sensible idea. The venue is open every day from 10am through to 4am, making it flexible for both early evening visits and late-night sessions. Those who prefer a more relaxed crowd may find the afternoon or early evening hours a better fit than peak weekend nights.

Visitor Reviews
We know and collaborate with the owner since years and know the club even longer. While we all love it and think it's a great club, the owner, who´s a true passionate about his business, already thinks again, how to improve it and how to make it even better.... But not just only the club serves a great experience. We´re lucky to work with the owner since years and working with him is simply amazing. Thanks
Nice big and cozy, I visited the place I the afternoon ( the night live is crazy ) . Nice promo 50% discount for local beer and few shots , 65 baht beer local or 90 for Heineken and others . Nice service ( like every where ) . Bigger than the others is more comfy

Tips for Visiting Nightlife & Bars
Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
