Spanky's
Spanky's is a go-go bar located in Nana Plaza, one of Bangkok's most well-known adult entertainment complexes, situated along Sukhumvit Road in the Khlong Toei district. It draws a regular mix of first-time visitors and seasoned Bangkok regulars, and has built a solid reputation among its crowd for delivering a straightforward, enjoyable night out. Drinks are mid-range for the area, coming in around 200 baht, and multiple visitors specifically highlight the absence of pressure tactics — a notable contrast to many similar venues in Bangkok and Pattaya. Staff are consistently described as attentive, and the entertainment runs throughout the evening rather than sporadically, which reviewers appreciate. The overall vibe is social and casual, making it comfortable for solo travellers as well as those visiting with friends. Good to know: Spanky's sits inside Nana Plaza, which is an enclosed multi-level complex — easy to find once you're on Sukhumvit Road near Nana BTS Skytrain station. The area is an established part of Bangkok's nightlife scene, so those unfamiliar with go-go bar culture should know what to expect before visiting. Arriving earlier in the evening tends to mean a less crowded experience, though the atmosphere builds as the night progresses.

Visitor Reviews
Have visited by now quite a few places like that in pattaya and bangkok and this one was much better than the otherones by far. There was actually a great show the whole time (not like the other clubs where the girls are basically just standing on stage looking super boring) and there is a shower show as well.
Let me start with my conclusion: I really enjoyed my stay ! When I arrived, the bar was quite full, but not crowded. I was asked to order a drink and was offered a seat. I was asked if I wanted to talk to a lady, I said not and that was accepted. About every 10-15 mins there is a show performed, which I really enjoyed. The shows might not be high end, but hey, if you want that, then you need to pay the price for some theatre ticket. Here, guests are asked if they would like to join these shows, which I think is very nice ! There is no obligation, so if you do not want to, thats totally fine. If you do, of course, as the bar is called Spanky's and the shows are mildly fetish and you might get spanked. After about an hour I was asked if I want another drink. I first said no but was approached again after a short while so I figured, ok, two beer for two hours is a fair investment for the entertainment I was enjoying, After tipping one of the dancers she approached me a bit later and asked if I want to talk. I friendly said no, of course she was a bit sad and asked if I am sure, but then left me alone. Rethinking now as I wrote the review I think I should have expanded the tip and enjoyed her company ! As others wrote: please be kind and tip the ladies, I don't think you will regret. I saw others who were talking to a lady for quite some time and seem to enjoy. If you really do not want to, that is accepted and you can still have a great time watching the shows.
Drinks are about 200 each. They are not pushy about buying drinks which is rare at these go go bars.. no scams whatsoever, No ladies trying to Forcefully pull you in Or any of that.. The ladies who bring you your drinks Are extremely nice and welcoming, They even give you nice little respectful bows 🙏 when entering and leaving or leaving a tip. They have shows every 15 minutes and it is always something different so it keeps the audience entertained for hours on end because you never know what’s going to happen next. They also allow customers to Be a part of these shows.. Lady drinks are pretty reasonable as well. Out of all the go-go bars, I’ve been to so far this one is easily the best
Tips for Visiting Nightlife & Bars
Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
