Saona Collection / Bophut
Saona Collection is a women's clothing store situated in the popular Fisherman's Village area of Bophut, on the north shore of Koh Samui. The shop specialises in handmade island and warm-weather clothing, stocking a range that spans casual beach wear, everyday dresses and tops, swimwear, and cocktail-ready evening pieces, along with sandals and accessories to complete each look. Visitors consistently highlight the welcoming atmosphere and the attentiveness of the staff, who are known to assist with fit, styling, and accessory pairing rather than simply leaving customers to browse alone. The clothing itself is praised for its shape, design, and suitability for tropical climates, making it a practical stop for anyone looking to refresh their wardrobe during a Koh Samui holiday. For those who discover the brand on their travels, an online shop is also available for purchases after returning home. Saona Collection is open seven days a week from 10:00 to 22:00, making it easy to fit into a busy holiday itinerary, including an evening visit after exploring Fisherman's Village. The later closing time is particularly convenient for those who prefer to shop after the afternoon heat has eased. The store's website at saonacollection.com provides a preview of available styles for those who want to plan ahead.

Haggle at Markets, Not Malls
Prices at market stalls are negotiable — start at 50–60% of the asking price and meet in the middle. Fixed-price shops and malls don't haggle. Smile and keep it friendly; aggressive bargaining is considered rude.
Arrive Early or Late
Vendors believe the first sale of the day is lucky — you'll often get a better deal if you arrive right when the market opens. Late in the evening, sellers may also discount to avoid packing unsold goods.
Be Cautious with Tailors
Bangkok has excellent tailors, but also many tourist traps. Avoid anyone offering suspiciously cheap suits or who approaches you on the street. Ask your hotel for recommendations, read reviews, and always get two fittings.
