Villa Market Index Hua Hin วิลล่า มาร์เก็ต อินเด็กซ์ หัวหิน
Villa Market Index is a large, modern supermarket in Hua Hin that draws both expat residents and travellers seeking imported groceries, specialty foods, and everyday household items in one convenient location. The store is particularly valued for its wide selection of international products that can be difficult to find elsewhere in the region, including imported cheeses, Japanese whisky, Western condiments, and a broad range of fresh and packaged goods alongside familiar Thai staples. The atmosphere is clean, organised, and well-maintained, with friendly and helpful staff noted consistently by regular shoppers. Visitors should be aware that imported items carry a premium price, which is typical for this style of upscale grocery store, while locally sourced Thai products remain reasonably priced. A small number of reviewers have raised concerns about product labelling and freshness in certain departments, so it is worth inspecting perishables carefully before purchasing. Open every day from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, the store suits flexible itineraries and is a practical stop at any point during a stay. Travellers staying in Hua Hin for more than a few days, or those with specific dietary requirements, will find an early visit useful for stocking up on essentials. The supermarket is located in the Mooban Borfai area of Hua Hin, so a car, motorbike, or taxi is the most practical way to get there from the town centre.

Visitor Reviews
I just wanted to say how wonderful and helpful the staff are at this place!! I dropped my debit card when leaving the Villa Market and someone found and gave it to the staff who were so kind and honest and kept it staff and secure. When I came to look for it 2 days later I was amazed at my good fortune to find they had it, being a foreigner it saved me so much time and trouble getting it replaced, I can't thank them enough, 💙💙💙
This is a store with a large selection of both imported and Thai products. From toothpaste to Japanese whiskey. The products are always fresh, the store is large and convenient, the staff is always very helpful.
Upscale grocery store. Some imported items are expensive, while local items are affordable. Very good selection overall Friendly staff

Haggle at Markets, Not Malls
Prices at market stalls are negotiable — start at 50–60% of the asking price and meet in the middle. Fixed-price shops and malls don't haggle. Smile and keep it friendly; aggressive bargaining is considered rude.
Arrive Early or Late
Vendors believe the first sale of the day is lucky — you'll often get a better deal if you arrive right when the market opens. Late in the evening, sellers may also discount to avoid packing unsold goods.
Be Cautious with Tailors
Bangkok has excellent tailors, but also many tourist traps. Avoid anyone offering suspiciously cheap suits or who approaches you on the street. Ask your hotel for recommendations, read reviews, and always get two fittings.
