dinosaur market 2
Dinosaur Market 2 is a straightforward, well-established flea market and fresh market in the Hua Hin area, catering primarily to locals going about their daily shopping. As the name implies, it is the second iteration of the original Dinosaur Market, and while it may not carry the same reputation as its predecessor, it serves a practical purpose well. Visitors will find a solid selection of fresh produce, prepared and cooked food, clothing stalls, and general everyday goods — the kind of honest, unpretentious Thai market experience that can be harder to find as beach towns become more tourist-oriented. The atmosphere is busy but manageable, with a compact layout that makes it easy to browse without feeling overwhelmed. The food section is a particular draw, with both fresh ingredients and ready-to-eat options available throughout the day. Surrounding streets also stock additional goods for anything the market itself does not carry, making the immediate area useful for a broader shop. The market opens seven days a week from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, so it fits easily into most itineraries. Morning visits tend to offer the best selection of fresh produce and cooked food before stock runs low. Comfortable footwear and a reusable bag are both practical choices, as with most Thai markets. This is not a destination for souvenir hunting or tourist shopping — it is best suited to travellers who want to experience everyday local commerce or stock up on fresh food during a longer stay in Hua Hin.

Visitor Reviews
Like Jurassic Park 2, it's not as good as the original.I do think that it is a bit of a health and safety issue having velocoraptors roaming without supervision. Although ironically they have super vision.
Well it's a fresh market that's been here forever. Everything you need from fresh produce, prepared food and some clothes stalls.
Great daily market. Not to big but you can buy all you need from a market.

Haggle at Markets, Not Malls
Prices at market stalls are negotiable — start at 50–60% of the asking price and meet in the middle. Fixed-price shops and malls don't haggle. Smile and keep it friendly; aggressive bargaining is considered rude.
Arrive Early or Late
Vendors believe the first sale of the day is lucky — you'll often get a better deal if you arrive right when the market opens. Late in the evening, sellers may also discount to avoid packing unsold goods.
Be Cautious with Tailors
Bangkok has excellent tailors, but also many tourist traps. Avoid anyone offering suspiciously cheap suits or who approaches you on the street. Ask your hotel for recommendations, read reviews, and always get two fittings.
