Dinosaur Market, Soi Hua Hin 56
Dinosaur Market is a popular open-air local market on Soi Hua Hin 56, drawing both residents and visitors with its strong focus on fresh food, produce, and affordable street eats. The market's prehistoric-themed décor gives it a distinctive character, but it's the quality and variety of what's on offer that keeps people coming back — fresh oysters shucked to order, grilled seafood, pre-cooked Thai dishes, and a wide selection of fruit and vegetables, all at accessible prices. The atmosphere is casual and social, with vendors operating under covered sections that provide shelter from the rain — a practical advantage in Hua Hin's tropical climate. Beyond the food stalls, visitors will find a small bar, a handful of shops, a 7-Eleven, and a children's play area, making it a workable stop for families. The market caters primarily to everyday shoppers rather than tourists, which is reflected in the straightforward pricing and no-frills setup. Good to know: Most food stalls begin setting up around 4:00–4:20 PM, so arriving early in the afternoon may mean fewer options are open. The market runs daily from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Bringing cash is advisable, as smaller vendors are unlikely to accept card payments. Comfortable, casual clothing suited to an outdoor tropical setting is recommended.

Visitor Reviews
The best place for pre-cooked Thai food, street food, fresh fruit and veggies and snacks, all of it under a decent roof where you stay dry when it rains. There's a nice bar too, a few shops, a 7-11 across the street, plus a Do-It-Yourself store. Pleasant atmosphere, no pushy vendors, good quality and good price.
Very clean place and one of the most affordable food market. All stalls are open around 4-4:20p.m. We found fresh oyster and different shells to eat. Our favorite was the fish grilled BBQ at 139Baths. Have also a veggies and fruits market.
Inexpensive local market with lots of nice fruit and vegetables. Some good meat and seafood, lots of places to eat or take away your dinner.

Haggle at Markets, Not Malls
Prices at market stalls are negotiable — start at 50–60% of the asking price and meet in the middle. Fixed-price shops and malls don't haggle. Smile and keep it friendly; aggressive bargaining is considered rude.
Arrive Early or Late
Vendors believe the first sale of the day is lucky — you'll often get a better deal if you arrive right when the market opens. Late in the evening, sellers may also discount to avoid packing unsold goods.
Be Cautious with Tailors
Bangkok has excellent tailors, but also many tourist traps. Avoid anyone offering suspiciously cheap suits or who approaches you on the street. Ask your hotel for recommendations, read reviews, and always get two fittings.
