THE WALL
The Wall is a mixed-use complex situated on Huay Kaew Road in the Chang Phueak area of Chiang Mai, combining fitness facilities, food and beverage options, and retail space under one roof. While listed as a shopping centre, visitor experiences suggest the standout draw is its well-equipped gym, which has earned consistent praise for its range of modern equipment, including a full dumbbell set reaching up to 50kg, multiple machines targeting different muscle groups, smith machines, and cable setups. A dedicated studio space caters to calisthenics and group classes, making it a solid option for fitness-focused travellers looking to maintain their routine while in the city. Beyond the gym, visitors have highlighted a food and coffee offering on-site, noting quality meals and strong coffee, albeit at slightly higher prices than typical Chiang Mai spots. The atmosphere is described as clean and functional, with accommodating staff contributing to a generally positive experience. The Wall opens daily at 08:00 and stays open until midnight, making it convenient for both early risers and those with flexible schedules. Travellers planning to use the gym are advised to confirm current day-pass rates and class timetables directly on arrival, as pricing details are not listed online. Its location on Huay Kaew Road places it within easy reach of the Nimman area, making it a practical stop for those already spending time in that part of the city.

Visitor Reviews
By far the BEST GYM in Nimman and Chiang Mai. I worked out here for 3 weeks! The equipment is brand new, has multiple machines for each body part. Great dumbbell set, smith machine, cables (with every extension possible) the owner Cameron is such a great guy- his staff are very kind, encouraging, and helpful. I trained with Cameron for 4-5 sessions- very knowledgeable, created some new tweeks to my routine. The Wall next door is great for Muay Thai lessons, yoga, HIIT classes etc! Great vibe, atmosphere, and 5-6 Treadmills!
Been here for a month now, no complaints. Has everything I need and the staff is accommodating. Especially a fan of the Studio side for calisthenics. Good price for value and the classes are also worth checking out
We loved this place! The food was good and the coffee amazing. It was higher priced, but our service and food made up for that! Thank you!

Haggle at Markets, Not Malls
Prices at market stalls are negotiable — start at 50–60% of the asking price and meet in the middle. Fixed-price shops and malls don't haggle. Smile and keep it friendly; aggressive bargaining is considered rude.
Arrive Early or Late
Vendors believe the first sale of the day is lucky — you'll often get a better deal if you arrive right when the market opens. Late in the evening, sellers may also discount to avoid packing unsold goods.
Be Cautious with Tailors
Bangkok has excellent tailors, but also many tourist traps. Avoid anyone offering suspiciously cheap suits or who approaches you on the street. Ask your hotel for recommendations, read reviews, and always get two fittings.
