Robinson Chiangmai Airport
Conveniently positioned just minutes from Chiang Mai International Airport, this Robinson-branded department store sits within the Central Chiang Mai Airport shopping complex and draws both locals and travellers with its broad range of products under one roof. The store covers clothing and accessories across multiple international and local brands, shoes and luggage, sporting goods through an in-store Sportsworld section, toys, kitchenware, and more — making it a genuinely versatile stop regardless of what you need. The atmosphere is modern and air-conditioned, with a layout that suits both quick errands and unhurried browsing. Visitors frequently find ongoing sales and promotions throughout the year, and staff tend to assist once items are picked up rather than hovering, giving shoppers a relaxed experience. Beneath Robinson sits a Tops Supermarket, which is particularly useful for stocking up on groceries, snacks, or packaged Thai goods to take home. Good to know: the store opens at 11am on weekdays and 10am on weekends, closing at 9pm daily. The earlier weekend opening makes Saturday or Sunday a practical option for travellers who want to shop before a late-afternoon departure. Those planning to collect promotional gifts with purchase should confirm the specific terms at the customer service counter, as conditions on certain offers can differ from what is advertised online.

Visitor Reviews
Excellent department store for quality branded clothing, shoes, bags, luggage etc. Has Sportsworld inside, great selection of trainers and casual footwear. Under Robinson's is Tops supermarket which can be accessed within the shop. Lovely fresh produce available including a meat and fish counter. Always nice to find some imported favourites too. The Airport shopping centre is joined to Robinson's for other shops
It’s a massive department store in the Central Chiang Mai shopping mall! If you’re looking for any clothes from across different brands, check out Robinson first. They also have a men’s sale section on the ground floor and has a cute selection there! Couldn’t find the same for women’s though … 🥲
Robinson is a very big store. They sell all kind of goods. From toys, clothes for children, cooking gear. You name it, you‘ll find it! Nice and well maintained

Haggle at Markets, Not Malls
Prices at market stalls are negotiable — start at 50–60% of the asking price and meet in the middle. Fixed-price shops and malls don't haggle. Smile and keep it friendly; aggressive bargaining is considered rude.
Arrive Early or Late
Vendors believe the first sale of the day is lucky — you'll often get a better deal if you arrive right when the market opens. Late in the evening, sellers may also discount to avoid packing unsold goods.
Be Cautious with Tailors
Bangkok has excellent tailors, but also many tourist traps. Avoid anyone offering suspiciously cheap suits or who approaches you on the street. Ask your hotel for recommendations, read reviews, and always get two fittings.
