About The Royal Place Condominium, Phuket
The Royal Place Condominium is a residential complex located in the Ratsada area of Kathu District, Phuket, offering accommodation options for travelers seeking a more local, apartment-style base during their stay. Its position near central Phuket makes it a practical choice for those needing access to the city rather than the beach resort areas, and the complex features 24-hour security and a generally quiet environment despite its proximity to a main road.
Guests staying here can expect a self-contained living setup in a mid-rise condominium building. Reviewers note the location and cleanliness as positives, though the complex does not provide internet, so visitors should arrange their own portable Wi-Fi or SIM card in advance. Rooms are typically booked through local agents or brokers rather than a direct online platform, so it is worth exercising caution when selecting an intermediary.

We like this place a lots. Great location, Clean place, 24hrs surcurity gurads and quiet even next to high way.Only down site is no Internet provide. You have to get your own wifi pocket Internet. But it's not difficult to get at all. So over all 10/10
I don’t even want to give this place a single star. If I could leave just a written review without giving any stars, I absolutely would. That’s how frustrating this place is. The maintenance fees are outrageously high, and they don’t even include basic amenities like the gym or the pool. What’s the point of paying so much when residents can’t access anything useful? To make matters worse, after living here peacefully for over a month, my car was suddenly clamped—without warning, without explanation. The rules are unclear, inconsistent, and feel completely arbitrary. It’s confusing, frustrating, and frankly unacceptable. Management? Nowhere to be seen. Communication is poor, issues are ignored, and nothing ever gets properly resolved. It honestly feels more like a money trap than a place to live. To whoever is in charge please, take responsibility and actually manage this place. Residents deserve better than this chaos. Strongly advise others to look elsewhere before considering this condo!!!👎
The monthly maintenance fees are outrageous, yet they don’t even cover basic facilities like the gym or the pool. It makes absolutely no sense to pay such high amounts and get nothing useful in return. Management is completely absent and very rude. Communication is poor, complaints are ignored, and no one seems willing to take responsibility. It honestly feels like the only goal here is to collect money, not to create a livable community. The rules? Confusing and inconsistent. They’re applied to some residents and ignored for others, which makes the whole experience exhausting and unfair. In short, this property lacks order, respect, and transparency. If you’re looking for peace of mind, look elsewhere. Strongly advise against living here — it’s just not worth the stress. 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

Tips for Visiting Hotels & Resorts
Compare OTAs and Direct Rates
Always check the hotel's own website after finding a rate on Agoda or Booking.com. Many Thai properties offer a best-rate guarantee or throw in perks like free breakfast when you book direct.
Pool Villa Doesn't Mean Expensive
Private pool villas in Krabi, Hua Hin, and Chiang Mai start around 2,500–4,000 THB/night — a fraction of Bali or Maldives prices. Search specifically for 'pool villa' to surface hidden gems.
Location Matters More Than Stars
A well-located 3-star hotel often beats a remote 5-star resort. In Bangkok, staying near a BTS or MRT station saves hours; on islands, proximity to the beach you actually want matters most.
