UrbanNest Hostel
UrbanNest Hostel is a budget accommodation option situated in a convenient pocket of Pattaya, offering both dormitory and private room options for travellers looking to keep costs down without straying far from the action. The hostel's location is one of its strongest selling points, with the beach accessible just across the road and a 24-hour 7-Eleven reportedly within metres of the entrance. Multiple restaurants, laundry services, and other everyday amenities are also close at hand, making it a practical base for exploring the city. Dormitory rooms are air-conditioned and fitted with bunk beds, and repeat guests have noted that staff are consistently friendly and accommodating. Private rooms are available at an affordable price point and have been described as clean by recent visitors. The hostel has undergone some recent repainting, so travellers sensitive to paint odours may wish to factor that into their timing. It is worth noting that at least one reviewer reported concerns about cleanliness, specifically regarding insects, so prospective guests should weigh the mixed feedback when deciding. As with most hostels in this price range, amenities are kept minimal — private rooms do not appear to include in-room kettles or similar extras. Travellers are advised to book in advance during Pattaya's peak tourist season, typically November through February, when affordable accommodation fills quickly. Checking recent reviews before booking is recommended given the varied guest experiences reported.

Visitor Reviews
Such a wonderful place to stay! As a tourist, everything you need is just around the corner. There are two 7-Eleven stores nearby, laundry services, plenty of food options, and the beach is within easy reach. I’ve stayed here in both the dorm and a private room, and both experiences were great. I’m genuinely happy with the place and the people. It truly feels welcoming and comfortable. Highly recommended!
This is the second time I've stayed at the nest. These people are clean, kind, and quiet. The dorms are air conditioned well with cozy bunks. The location is superb with a 24/7 711 like 40 feet from the hotel and a big c supermarket just a short walk away. Location, accommodation, service, price, and energy all 5 stars. Thank you very much and I'll see you soon. Krap khun krap!
The staff was really nice and helpful. We booked a private room, which was affordable and clean. Right down the street are lots of restaurants and on the other side of the road, not even a minute away, is a seven eleven. We loved it there and can only recommend!
Tips for Visiting Hotels & Resorts
Book Shoulder Season
May–June and September–October offer dramatic discounts (30–50% off peak rates) with fewer crowds. Weather is mixed but rarely a washout — afternoon showers clear quickly.
Compare OTAs and Direct Rates
Always check the hotel's own website after finding a rate on Agoda or Booking.com. Many Thai properties offer a best-rate guarantee or throw in perks like free breakfast when you book direct.
Pool Villa Doesn't Mean Expensive
Private pool villas in Krabi, Hua Hin, and Chiang Mai start around 2,500–4,000 THB/night — a fraction of Bali or Maldives prices. Search specifically for 'pool villa' to surface hidden gems.
