Foodland Supermarket PATTAYA 1
This well-established supermarket on Thanon Pattaya Klang serves as far more than a grocery stop, functioning as a practical all-hours hub for both residents and travellers. Alongside the expected range of Thai and imported groceries, toiletries, wines, spirits, and household essentials, the store houses a deli counter, bakery, butcher section, and a café near the front entrance that operates around the clock with a broad menu of Thai and international dishes at reasonable prices. The layout is clean and organised, with air-conditioning making browsing comfortable year-round. The butcher counter is particularly well regarded, drawing shoppers specifically for quality ground beef and fresh cuts. A self-serve salad bar, priced by weight, adds another practical option for those wanting a quick, customisable meal. Organic, European, and health-focused products are stocked alongside everyday Thai staples, making it a useful stop for travellers with specific dietary needs or preferences. The store operates virtually around the clock, closing only briefly between 23:59 and midnight on its listed schedule. Early morning visits tend to mean quieter aisles and the freshest produce selection. Drivers should note that the on-site car park is small and exiting onto the main road can be slow during busy periods, so arriving on foot or by baht bus is often the easier option.

Resturant offering wide range of meals from English breakfast to traditional thai 24 hour opening times with its own carpark. If you are careful about what you can eat there are organic vegetables and a big selection of products with many staff to assist. Comprehensive wines, spirits and beers with different sizes. It is a one stop shop for groceries with shopping trolly but not having to walk long isles so it is disabled friend with a front entrance ramp fir wheel chairs
Friendly staff, especially the butcher in the meat department and the cashier. Best ground beef I've found in Pattaya (Big C was too lean and tasteless) , I bought 4.5 kilos! I'm a car diet follower and this really helped me out. I usually shop at Big C but Foodland is better quality and cheaper on some items.
Great place for food in their cafe near the front entrance. Open 24 hours a day with a wide menu which is always perfectly cooked and pleasingly priced. I generally go VERY early morning for Thai food or simple western breakfast choices. Never disappointed. Plenty of parking.

Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
