Tucked away at the end of a quiet residential street in Jomtien, this informal hostel offers a relaxed base for travellers looking to explore the calmer, less frenetic side of the Pattaya area. Private rooms are notably spacious and well-maintained, with some units featuring kitchenettes that suit longer stays. The hostel sits within a short walk of Jomtien Beach, and its street is lined with a handful of local restaurants, keeping things convenient without the noise of the main tourist strip.
Guests consistently highlight the cleanliness and the friendliness of staff as standout qualities. A free drinking water station is a practical bonus in the Thai heat, and the location offers reasonable access to key transit points including the Central Bus Terminal and Bali Hai Pier. Private rooms have been reported at around 700 baht per night, making this one of the more affordable private accommodation options in the area.
It is worth noting that opinions on the location are mixed — some travellers find the quiet setting a genuine draw, while others feel it lacks convenient transport links. The hostel is open daily from 07:00 to 22:00, so those planning late arrivals should contact the property in advance to confirm check-in arrangements. Booking directly through the hostel website is recommended for the most current pricing and availability.

Reviews from Google
It is exactly as advertised and what you see on pictures. The hostel is situated at the end of a quiet street, not far from the beach and a few restaurants in the same street. Nice touch: free drinking water provided. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean, good working A/C, hot shower, fridge & TV and a good sized room & balcony overlooking an empty but green plot. Bed was comfortable. We enjoyed our stay of almost a week and would return anytime again.
Best hostel ever Clean Friendly staff Near to visiting places and walkable distance to beach Really worth it Go for it ❤️
⭐☆☆☆☆ Very disappointing stay at Jomtien Hostel 😞 I would not recommend this place. The location is not good and quite inconvenient to reach 🚶♂️. Basic amenities were missing — they did not provide handwash or shower gel, which is very inconvenient for guests 🧴❌. The room was extremely hot with no proper cooling, making it very uncomfortable to sleep 🔥🥵. On top of that, the beds are not comfortable at all, so getting proper rest was difficult 🛏️😣. Considering the poor facilities, the price is too high for what you get 💸. Overall, not worth the money. I suggest looking for better options nearby. ❗
