Situated on Thanon Had Lamai in Koh Samui's lively Lamai district, Kerton Hostel draws budget-conscious travellers seeking comfortable, well-maintained accommodation close to the beach. Guests frequently highlight the spaciousness and cleanliness of the rooms, which stand out for a hostel of this type — with easy-access bunk beds that even taller travellers find comfortable, fresh towels provided daily, and generous drying areas for laundry. The reception staff have earned particular praise for their warmth and willingness to go out of their way for guests in need.
The location works well for visitors who want to be in the middle of things. Lamai Beach is around a five-minute walk away, while both the tourist-oriented Night Market and the local Lamai fresh market — a better bet for authentic Thai food — are within easy reach on foot. The surrounding area offers a mix of beach bars, restaurants, and local amenities, making it a practical base for exploring the island.

Reviews from Google
The best hostel in all of Lamai. We had problem with our accommodation and this amazing woman in the reception helped us with a couple of night stay beweeen bookings. So kind, always a smile. Nice rooms good AC and comfortable! I spent 5 nights and slept like a baby!!!
Best Hostel for Comfort! Especially for 6ft tall 210 pound person. Exceeded all expectations. Responsive to request!
Good looking hostel and super close from the Night market (mostly tourist food) and 10 min. away from the Lamai market (thaï food). Everything was clean. I loved the big area to hang our clothes to dry. Unfortunatly i didn't sleep very well here. The matress and sheets were damp. I notice the bathroom door has alot of space under so the humidity gets in the room even with the AC working 24hours. Not a place to meet people as it's really calm.
