About Koh Ngai Thanya Beach Resort

Thanya is a Thai-style resort at the south end of Koh Ngai's main beach, where the boats come in, with wooden bungalows spread through a garden of frangipani trees and a small infinity pool near the sand. The bungalows called beachfront sit back from the water behind the garden, so if a sea view matters, ask for the front row.

The reef in front of Thanya is some of the best on the island for snorkeling, and guests take out the resort's kayaks to explore the coast. The jungle trail to Paradise Beach starts behind its last villas, about 20 to 30 minutes over the hill. Reviewers praise the staff, the quiet corner of the beach and the pool, and find the restaurant good but pricier than the mainland, which is true of the whole island.
