K2 L'amour pool villa
Situated along Thanon U-Thong in the heart of Kanchanaburi town, K2 L'amour Pool Villa is a resort-style property offering private pool villas designed with couples and leisure travellers in mind. The accommodation features individually styled rooms with private pools, and guests consistently highlight the warm, welcoming staff and the cosy, comfortable feel of the rooms as standout positives. Each villa comes with its own pool, making it a retreat-style stay rather than a standard hotel experience. Reviewers note the rooms are nicely arranged and suitable for two, with facilities that lean toward relaxation and recharging between explorations of the wider Kanchanaburi region. The property is well-positioned for travellers using it as a base to visit the area's historical sites, river scenery, and nearby attractions. That said, prospective guests should be aware that experiences have been mixed. Some visitors have reported issues with pool cleanliness, air conditioning performance, and general room upkeep, so it is worth checking recent reviews before booking. Requesting a room inspection upon arrival and confirming the pool condition with staff in advance may help ensure a smoother stay. The property is best suited to those seeking a quieter, villa-style escape rather than a full-service resort experience. Booking directly through the hotel website may provide the most up-to-date availability and room options.

Best staff service Room was cosy and comfortable Nice pool with warm temp Facilities were great , suitable for couple
The room was nicely arranged and comfortable for two people. However, the bathroom had a glass panel that made the shower visible, and water from the air conditioner dripped onto my son’s head while he was sleeping. Still, the manager, Khun Jeab, handled everything well — she moved us to a new room and resolved the issues smoothly. All the staff provided excellent service.
We stopped here for 2 days during our motorcycle trip to relax and recharge. The 1st impression of the hotel and the room was great. However, we found 2 issues: Our pool was surprisingly dirty. At the seating area there was a lot of sand. After checking, we found many of this sand hot spots inside the pool. Make us wonder about how frequently and good they are cleaning them? I mean this kind of sand accumulation does not appear after only a couple of days. I have a pool and kids at my house. I clean it frequently and never saw anything like it before. The 2nd issue was that at the 2nd night the filter / cleaning pump of the pool did not turn off like in the previous night. I am not talking about the one you can control by yourself (Jet pumps). Together with the rather loud AC the 2nd night was not as relaxing as it should. I hope they can fix this and keep an eye on the cleaning, perhaps clean it more frequently because we really liked it there and would love to come back.
Tips for Visiting Hotels & Resorts
Book Shoulder Season
May–June and September–October offer dramatic discounts (30–50% off peak rates) with fewer crowds. Weather is mixed but rarely a washout — afternoon showers clear quickly.
Compare OTAs and Direct Rates
Always check the hotel's own website after finding a rate on Agoda or Booking.com. Many Thai properties offer a best-rate guarantee or throw in perks like free breakfast when you book direct.
Pool Villa Doesn't Mean Expensive
Private pool villas in Krabi, Hua Hin, and Chiang Mai start around 2,500–4,000 THB/night — a fraction of Bali or Maldives prices. Search specifically for 'pool villa' to surface hidden gems.
