The Vista Pool Villa
Compare prices
Set against a scenic mountain range in Tha Muang district, The Vista Pool Villa offers a quiet retreat from city life in the heart of Kanchanaburi province. The property features a mix of rooms and private pool villas, with the latter being the clear highlight — guests consistently praise the privacy and comfort that come with having a dedicated pool attached to their accommodation. The surrounding area borders sugarcane fields, lending the property a genuinely rural, unhurried atmosphere that suits those looking to slow down and unwind. The rooms and villas are noted as being somewhat older in style, but are kept clean and well maintained. Staff receive particular praise for their attentiveness and willingness to accommodate guest requests, including room changes when needed. While there is no shared public pool on the property, the private pools attached to select villas more than compensate for this. The area also offers easy vehicle parking and a variety of food options nearby. For the best experience, guests are advised to book a villa with a private pool rather than a standard room, as sunlight exposure and pool access vary between room types. Booking late-availability deals can offer good value. The Vista Pool Villa is well suited to couples or small families seeking a low-key countryside escape within reach of Kanchanaburi's historical and natural attractions.

Visitor Reviews
The hotel is located along a beautiful mountain range. The atmosphere is simply wonderful. The rooms are a bit older, but everything is clean and well maintained. The staff are incredibly friendly and always make an effort to fulfill every request. There is a very, very pleasant atmosphere throughout the hotel. The management truly deserves praise — they take care of everything, so you really feel completely comfortable and well looked after. We be there over the Chrismas days, have a look at this picture this telling you everything
Great place and within budget if you book late availability. Great staff, had a issue with my first room "hardly any sun!" Manager quickly changed to a room witch the sun shines all day. Great food and pretty well priced. Good breakfast. I will definitely be staying here again in the future!
I be love the hospitality and the private pool adds a different vibe. I love it . I recommend getting a room with the private pool if you love swimming bcz there’s no public pool there . But I’m sure you’ll love the experience

Tips for Visiting Hotels & Resorts
Book Shoulder Season
May–June and September–October offer dramatic discounts (30–50% off peak rates) with fewer crowds. Weather is mixed but rarely a washout — afternoon showers clear quickly.
Compare OTAs and Direct Rates
Always check the hotel's own website after finding a rate on Agoda or Booking.com. Many Thai properties offer a best-rate guarantee or throw in perks like free breakfast when you book direct.
Pool Villa Doesn't Mean Expensive
Private pool villas in Krabi, Hua Hin, and Chiang Mai start around 2,500–4,000 THB/night — a fraction of Bali or Maldives prices. Search specifically for 'pool villa' to surface hidden gems.
