Visitor Reviews
The host Toddy was extremely friendly and helpful. Despite staying at Baan Jaru (Chiang Rai) for only one night he started by explaining what to visit and at what time depending on the time we had. He drew and wrote details on a city map upside down which was quite impressive imo. He is extremely considerate as he helped me surprise my wife with an amazing bucket of flower for our honeymoon. You could feel the personal touch at Baan Jaru. Bed was very comfortable and location is 5 minute walking distance away from night market. Room was spacious and cozy at the same time. Breakfast was simple, but really good! Definitely worth it and heavily recommended a stay at Baan Jaru.
We stayed here for one week and it was absolutely beautiful. The staffs are very nice and friendly. The girls who made us breakfast in the morning are so sweet and always smiling at us 🙂😍😍 The owner who checked us in gave us a lot of good information about the area around the hotel and what to do. We hope his toe gets better soon because we did not see him last day to say goodbye to him, very very nice man 🙂 The room was quiet and had both AC and fan. They cleaned our rooms every morning with two bottles of water.
Quiet location, yet accessible hotel for both the centre and night bazaar. Hotel owner gave us an orientation on arrival using an annotated map which proved very useful for our initial explore of the city. Our room was spacious with plenty of space to open two suitcases. King sized bed was also very comfortable. Clean and fresh towels supplied. Air-conditioning was efficient and quiet. Breakfast was eggs made to order with toast and self serve tea, coffee and selection of fruits. Lovely stay in a homestyle hotel.
