pluem ปลื้ม
Tucked along Khlong Makharm Riang Road in the Pratuchai area of Ayutthaya, pluem ปลื้ม stands out among the city's dining options for its combination of thoughtful interior design, live musical performances, and a menu that spans traditional Thai, Isan, and fusion cooking. The result is a lively yet relaxed atmosphere that suits both casual dinners and small celebrations with friends or family. Visitors consistently highlight the stylish décor, attentive and friendly staff, and a menu varied enough to satisfy different tastes. Standout dishes mentioned by diners include Tom Kha, Pad Thai, crispy fried Enoki mushrooms, and mango sticky rice. The space is well-maintained throughout, and the restaurant is welcoming to guests with dogs, making it an unusually flexible choice for pet owners travelling with their animals. Good to know: pluem ปลื้ม opens at 6 PM every day of the week, making it a natural stop for dinner after a day exploring Ayutthaya's temples and ruins. Wednesday is the exception, when the restaurant opens earlier at 11 AM. As a popular venue with no website or visible advance booking system, arriving on the earlier side of the evening is a sensible approach, particularly on weekends or during busy travel periods.

Visitor Reviews
Indeed a COZY HOUSE! My son and I dined here on our first night in Ayutthaya. The server recommended dishes that were truly worth recommending! Tom Kha, Pad Thai and Enoki Mushroom fried crisply with a sauce that really kicks! Serving size can be stretched for 3pax but since we were ravenous, we easily ate everything! The menu has so much to offer with such reasonable prices.
We enjoyed our meal in this stylish and very cozy establishment. The food was delicious, the toilets very clean and beautifully designed and the service was excellent! The staff has allowed our dog to be with us. Thank you for a pleasant experience! We do warmly recommend the Cozy house for new guests!
The food was fantastic, and the service was excellent. We loved the vibe and décor of the restaurant/café. We were very pleased with the variety on the menu, which includes Thai, Isan, Thai fusion, and Western dishes. They also serve wine and other beverages! Highly recommended.

Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food
Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
