ํYanui Beach

Yanui Beach is a small, tucked-away cove on the southern tip of Phuket, sitting between the more popular Nai Harn Beach and Promthep Cape. Its compact size and sheltered position make it a quieter alternative to the island's busier shores, drawing visitors who prefer a relaxed atmosphere over crowded stretches of sand. The tree-lined shoreline provides natural shade, adding to its unhurried, laid-back character. The beach is well-suited to families and snorkellers, with clear water close to shore and rental equipment available directly on the beach, including snorkelling gear and kayaks. The relatively calm conditions make it accessible for swimmers of varying ability, and the small scale of the beach means it rarely feels overwhelming. A handful of vendors and simple facilities are on hand without detracting from the natural setting. Yanui Beach is best visited in the dry season, which runs from approximately November through April, when seas are calmer and visibility for snorkelling is at its clearest. Outside of these months, wave conditions can pick up considerably. Arriving early in the morning is a practical way to secure a shaded spot and enjoy the beach before day-trippers passing through on their way to Promthep Cape begin to arrive. There is roadside parking nearby, making it straightforward to reach by scooter or car.
