Come for the morning. The gates open at 08:30 and that first hour or two is when the forest is cool, the macaques are moving and the hornbills are noisy. By midday the trails are hard work and the wildlife has sensibly gone quiet, which is why I'd treat this as a half-day rather than something to stretch out.
The park is named after two of its peaks and covers a decent sweep of Phang-nga Province, with rainforest, mangroves, viewpoints over the hills, and beaches on the Andaman side that stay far emptier than anything further down the coast. It's small enough to see properly in one go, which I think is its real strength. Start at the visitor center near the entrance for the background on the ecology, then pick a trail.
Wear proper shoes. The forest paths get muddy in the wet months, roughly May to October, when everything is green but the sea turns rough. November to April is the easier stretch for both walking and swimming.
