Longtai Boat Phuket
Longtai Boat Phuket offers private longtail boat charters operating out of Phuket's Kamala area, giving travellers a way to explore the island's surrounding waters away from the crowds. The service runs both half-day and full-day tours, with popular routes including James Bond Island and various smaller islands and coves that are difficult to reach by other means. The focus on private charters means groups have the boat to themselves, with a dedicated captain and crew attending to the experience throughout.
Visitors consistently highlight the attentiveness of the captain and crew, who handle logistics from start to finish including pick-up arrangements. On the water, guests have enjoyed activities such as snorkelling, paddle boarding, and relaxing in secluded coves, with fresh-cut fruit often provided on board. The boats are reported to be well-maintained, and the crew is noted for being accommodating to families travelling with children as well as larger groups.
Advance booking is strongly recommended, particularly for those travelling during Phuket's busy high season between November and April. The service is listed as available seven days a week and operates around the clock in terms of booking availability. Prospective visitors can find itinerary details and make enquiries through the operator's website at longtailboat-phuket.com. Those with specific destinations or activities in mind, such as a particular island or snorkelling spot, are advised to communicate preferences when booking to help the crew plan accordingly.

Reviews from Google
My wife and I booked this private boat and it was the best decision ever. The boat captain and his deck hand were amazing, they took care of every single detail. The boat was in great condition and very comfortable. We were taken to a lot of amazing & beautiful islands. At each stop they allowed us time to enjoy each place before moving on to the next. They were also flexible when we asked to skip something to have more time at another place. They customized the tour for our needs and that made the day even more special. The lunch that they set up for us on the beach was out of this world, my wife loved it. I can’t say enough about how great this tour is, I will definitely book again if I am ever back in Phuket.
Highly recommend if you come to Phuket book this full day private boat tour! My friends and I had an amazing time island hoping for my birthday. The captain and crew were so nice and accommodating. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel. We visited Koh Hong Krabi, Laem Hat Yao, Sharpen Lading and Pak Bia Island. We swam at each location. The food they provided was delicious, the fruit was fresh and the drinks were cold. 10/10 recommend! Thank you for an amazing experience!
What an amazing experience. We did a half day private Longtailboat experience. We were two adults and two children. It was fantastic. From the organisation, the pick up and the crew on board. We were taken to two beautiful paradise islands and one snorkelling spot off the boat. The half day was prefect and I would highly recommend.

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Popular Activities Online
Booking platforms like GetYourGuide give you instant confirmation and, on many activities, free cancellation — and you can read recent reviews before committing. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
