Pattaya Park observation deck
Perched atop the tallest tower in Pattaya, this observation deck sits on the 55th floor and delivers panoramic 360-degree views across both North and South Pattaya, stretching out over the coastline and surrounding cityscape. Reached by cable car, the ascent alone is a notable experience, and the platform provides a rare vantage point for taking in the full scale of the city and its bay. Once at the top, visitors will find a small shop selling soft drinks and beer, making it easy to linger and take in the scenery. One of the more distinctive features is the choice of descents — options include a cable car, a fast standing car, and a zip line, giving the visit an added element of adventure beyond simply admiring the view. That said, some visitors have noted that the windows on the observation level can be smeared, which may affect photographs, and the overall facilities are considered by some to fall short of contemporary tourist attraction standards. The deck is open every day of the week from 09:00 to 17:30, so morning visits are worth considering for clearer skies and softer light. Those planning to use the zip line or standing car descent may want to check availability and pricing on arrival, as these are separate experiences from the standard cable car ride. Comfortable footwear is recommended, particularly for those choosing the more active descent options.

Visitor Reviews
We took the cable car to the top. 58 stories up. Really fantastic view of the surrounding area. Been coming to this park for over 30 years first time up. Great experience.
Amazing views, 360degree views of Pattaya. You can choose how to come down, cable car, fast standing car or zip line.
It was fun to go to the 55th floor. The view was amazing. It was 360 degree view and could see entire Pattaya from there. Then you go up another floor, There are 3 options to come down and you could choose depending on how much of an adventurer you are. Zip line is the best and gondola is something everyone can do.

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
