Phra Racha Anusaowari Park
Phra Racha Anusaowari Park occupies a sizeable plot on the rural road running along Pattaya's outer edge and combines formal gardens with monuments commemorating the history of the Chonburi region. The park is well-maintained and popular with local families and morning walkers, offering a quiet contrast to Pattaya's denser tourist areas. Entry is free and the grounds are spacious enough to walk at leisure without feeling crowded. The monuments within the park have cultural and historical significance for Thai visitors but are accessible to anyone with an interest in the region's heritage. Best visited in the cooler morning hours.

Visitor Reviews
We go all the time to feed the fishes and play in the play ground and also visit the temple. The whole area is lovely and if you go on the weekday you be the only one there unless you count the electric buses taking the Chinese tourist around. But the Chinese mostly do not go out of their buses and go away as quickly as they come. A few years ago you be the only person there on a weekday.
Great place for a day out a walk or cycle around the lake plenty of places to eat or drink lots of wildlife to see
Fine park to relax and enjoy the environment.
Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
