Pattaya Dolphinarium

4.7(4,875 reviews)

The show is the whole point here, and it runs about 30 to 40 minutes. Dolphins jumping through hoops, balancing balls, moving in sync to music, plus sea lions doing their own routines. Kids love it. Adults who haven't seen a dolphin show since primary school tend to come out grinning too. The arena is built so every seat has a decent view, so don't stress about where you land. Do think about the front row though. That's the splash zone and people genuinely get drenched.

If the show alone isn't enough, there are swimming sessions and closer animal encounters bookable on top. Worth knowing that some visitors wish the show ran longer, so go in expecting a tight, well-drilled 40 minutes rather than an afternoon's entertainment. Pad it out with something else nearby.

The Pattaya Dolphinarium is a lovely place that offers an engaging family-friendly experience in the heart of Pattaya. Visitors can enjoy a wonderful show featuring sea lions and dolphins performing impressive tricks and synchronized routines that delight audiences of all ages. The dolphins, in particular, steal the show with their graceful jumps through hoops, playful ball-balancing acts, and synchronized dances to music, showcasing their intelligence and training in a captivating 30-40 minute performance. Tickets for non-Thai visitors start from around 700 Baht, providing good value for the entertainment on offer. Additional options like taking pictures with the dolphins or even swimming with them are available for an extra fee, adding a personal touch to the visit. Overall, it’s a must-see attraction for animal lovers and those seeking lighthearted fun during a trip to Pattaya.

The Dolphinarium was an amazing experience! I didn’t realize how big the dolphins are, and the seals were incredibly impressive as well. The whole show was entertaining, fun, and even educational. We really enjoyed our time there — it was truly a cool and memorable experience. Highly recommended and buy tickets in advance. 😁😁

Very cool experience with no bad seats in the facility. The front row can get soaked if you choose to sit there. The best option is to purchase tickets online for the best discounts. The dolphins and seals are very skilled and well trained! Super cute to see! I do wish the show was longer, they included a third type of animal, and the staff in the show smiled more since it is a family focused performance. Other than that, it was really fun :)

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours

Vet Elephant Sanctuaries

Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.

Book Popular Activities Online

Booking platforms like GetYourGuide give you instant confirmation and, on many activities, free cancellation — and you can read recent reviews before committing. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.

Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning

Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
