Naklua Chalermprakiat Park
Situated along Na Kluea Road in Pattaya's quieter northern district, this community park offers a genuine slice of local Thai life that stands apart from the busier attractions of central Pattaya. A fresh seafood and wet market operates on-site from around 7:30 to 8:00 AM, drawing locals and the occasional curious traveller looking for an authentic morning experience. Beyond the market, the park features open green spaces, a children's play area with slides, swings, and climbing frames, a small skate park, and waterfront views — making it a well-rounded destination for families and active visitors alike. The atmosphere is relaxed and community-oriented, with locals using the space for walking, jogging, and exercise throughout the day. The park can get crowded during local festivals, when the compact entrance area and smaller grounds feel the pinch, so it is worth checking local event schedules before visiting. Free parking is available in a nearby parking garage, which also has toilet facilities. Good to know: The park opens daily at 4:00 AM, making it a popular spot for early morning exercise in the cooler pre-dawn air. The morning hours also offer the best chance to explore the seafood market at its liveliest. Midday heat can be intense, so early morning or late afternoon visits are recommended. The park is easily reached by taxi or motorbike from central Pattaya and pairs well with a broader exploration of the Na Kluea district.

Visitor Reviews
Situated in Naklua in the north of Pattaya, Lan Pho Public Park is a popular small park and open area with lots of things to do. There is a children's play area with slides, swings, climbing frames, and animal rides, a kiosk selling refreshments, exercise stations to get in a workout, and walkways. There are even two pavilions that offer sweeping views over Naklua Bay. You can sit on benches or on the grass to relax or hire a mat. There are even gentle exercise classes held in the evenings sometimes that anyone can join.
There's like a whole seafood and like wet market and I think it opens around like 7:30 or 8:00 a.m. and it's like really good vibes feels very local I don't see too many foreigners if you want to see the real Thailand but you're in Pattaya this is not too far to go and you get to walk near the water and see some beautiful views highly recommended
Lovely little park in the heart of a bustling downtown muang. It had a fresh food market beside it, loads of free parking in a parking garage with toilets, and even a small skate park. The views of the Sanctuary of Truth are lovely. There are also a few old holy ghost trees to spot.

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
