Sanctuary of Truth - Mini zoo
Situated within the grounds of the Sanctuary of Truth in Pattaya's Na Kluea area, this mini zoo offers a modest but accessible wildlife experience alongside one of the region's most iconic cultural landmarks. The animal collection is small in scale, featuring goats, deer, and birds, making it a low-key addition to a visit rather than a standalone destination. Families with children are likely to get the most out of it, as the enclosures are reported to be clean and well-maintained. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal, providing a gentle contrast to the grandeur of the Sanctuary of Truth itself. Visitors can purchase animal feed on-site, adding an interactive element to the experience. That said, those expecting a diverse or extensive zoo should temper their expectations — the offering is limited, and most visitors will move through it within a short time. Good to know: The listed evening hours of 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM appear to reflect one operating window, but at least one recent visitor notes that the zoo also opens in the morning from around 9:00 AM, so it is worth confirming current hours before visiting. The evening schedule suits those combining a visit with other Pattaya activities, but arriving promptly at opening is advisable given the short window. Transportation should be arranged in advance, as the location on Soi Na Kluea 12 sits away from the main tourist areas. Visitors with ethical concerns about animal welfare are encouraged to observe rather than participate in any animal riding activities.

A wonderful little zoo experience right next to the Sanctuary of Truth! The mini zoo is clean, well-maintained, and offers a nice variety of animals that are well cared for. It’s perfect for families and kids to enjoy a close-up look at some local wildlife and exotic creatures. The staff are friendly and helpful, making the visit even more enjoyable. Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
