So Tai Seafood
Tucked away at the end of Soi Na Kluea 6, this small seafood restaurant has earned a devoted following among locals and visiting food enthusiasts alike. With only six tables and a no-frills setup, the focus here is squarely on the food — fresh seafood prepared with traditional Thai spices and herbs, spanning stir-fried dishes, grilled fish, and fried rice built around the day's catch. Visitors consistently describe the ingredients as notably fresh and the flavours as distinctly authentic, placing it firmly in the category of neighbourhood gems that reward those willing to seek them out. The atmosphere is casual and compact, with the kind of unpretentious setting where quality of cooking takes clear precedence over décor or service polish. The restaurant draws a loyal local crowd, which itself speaks to its standing in the area. It opens daily from 11:30am to 9:00pm, making it a practical option for both lunch and dinner throughout the week. Given the limited seating — just six tables — arriving early is strongly advisable, particularly on weekends or during peak dinner hours. Showing up between 11:30am and early afternoon, or before 6:30pm in the evening, offers the best chance of being seated without a wait. The location at the far end of a soi means first-time visitors should allow a little extra time to find it; a maps app is helpful. Cash payment is worth preparing for, as smaller local restaurants in this area may not always accept cards.

Visitor Reviews
So Tai Seafood This place is a must-try for seafood lovers! Tucked away at the end of a Soi, So Tai Seafood is a hidden gem that's clearly no secret to the locals, as it was packed when we visited. And for good reason! We were blown away by the freshness and quality of the crab in every dish we ordered. The Crab Fried Rice was generously loaded with hunks of sweet crab meat, the Crab Fish Cakes were perfectly seasoned and fried to perfection, and the Crab Rolls were bursting with flavor. It's obvious that they use freshly caught crab, and they don't skimp on the portions! Despite being busy, the service was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is lively and authentic, giving you a real taste of local Thai dining. Overall, So Tai Seafood exceeded our expectations. Delicious food, fresh ingredients, and a vibrant atmosphere – what more could you ask for? 10/10, we highly recommend!
Delicious seafood for restaurant in Pataya located in Na glur area not far from the market. Every dishes are very good fresh seafood well cook with fresh spice and herb. This is Thai seafood. You should try price are not so expensive compared to the big restaurant, but they are the small restaurant with only six tables in lunchtime but whatever in the dinner time at our area, they are family business of the restaurant so they use their home to open. It’s like a home cook with clearly fresh seafood. They don’t took the reservation so you have to show up pick up the ticket and wait, but it worth for waiting. No air condition cash or QR code only they have the parking space at the same street of the restaurant and also the opposite site. Enjoy.

Totally enjoyed our seafood meal! And the price are so reasonable! There is a small car park nearby which you can park for 40 Baht.

Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
