Sensational Divers
Sensational Divers is a family-run dive operation based in Pattaya that stands out from the area's crowded dive market by running its own boat and venturing to less-visited, more remote dive sites. The shop caters to all levels, from first-time divers seeking a guided introduction to certified divers looking to explore Pattaya's reef systems and wreck sites. Reviewers consistently highlight the team's professionalism, strong safety focus, and genuine passion for diving, alongside attentive communication from the booking stage through to the day of the trip, including hotel pickup by minivan.
Beyond the diving itself, the operation has earned praise for its welcoming, relaxed atmosphere and quality on-board food — details that make a full day on the water noticeably more comfortable. Experienced divemasters lead the underwater excursions, and PADI certification courses are available for those looking to formalise their skills during their stay. The shop is open seven days a week from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, making it straightforward to arrange trips whether planned ahead or booked on short notice.

Reviews from Google
I had a sweet experience with Sensational Divers! They have good communication about reservations and options, and great prices. I got picked up from my hotel the morning of the trip in a nice minivan, drove to the launch point where we took a rib to the main dive boat. Pretty nice equipped boat - good shaded sitting area, dive setup area is spacious and easy. Did 3 dives with them including all the dive gear, pickup and drop-off at hotel, lunch and drinks on the boat for total 3600 baht - excellent! The weather and day was great, drank 3 cold sodas from their cooler, and the lunch was spectacular (fried chicken wings were delicious! Also included rice, macaroni, bread, pineapple, watermelon). The dives were tons of fun - Arseniy was a great buddy and guide. 1st dive was a shipwreck, then two coral dives afterwards. The wreck was sweet - WW2 boat intentionally sunk for dive site - great guns and swim throughs. The corals were amazing - great blue and red colors, lots of different types (I don't know the names). Arseniy provided good dive briefings before each dive, and all my equipment was good. For an air guzzler, I wish the tanks were completely full as all of mine started at 170 bar, but it all worked out as still got plenty of time underwater. In the last dive we saw a big sea turtle, great stuff. Water was nice and warm, 78F. On the whole - great day. Only other feedback would be some dessert post last dive would be amazing (I love sugar).
Family-run, easy-going, fun dive shop. Have their own boat and visit better, farther dive sites than most Pattaya dive shops.
Very good communication and great dive masters to dive with. 👌

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Popular Activities Online
Booking platforms like GetYourGuide give you instant confirmation and, on many activities, free cancellation — and you can read recent reviews before committing. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
