Hat Krathing Lai Park
Hat Krathing Lai Park is a low-key seaside park stretching roughly one to two kilometres along the coast in Pattaya, offering a welcome contrast to the city's busier entertainment areas. The park features a paved footpath running alongside a small beach, outdoor fitness equipment, and open spaces suitable for picnicking, cycling, or simply sitting quietly while watching the sea. A handful of cafes and restaurants operate within or near the park, though hours can be inconsistent. The atmosphere is relaxed and unhurried, attracting joggers, walkers, and locals enjoying the waterfront in the evenings. Sunset views are a particular draw, and the park is calm enough in the mornings to feel genuinely peaceful. Visitors should note that the adjacent water is visibly polluted, so swimming is not advisable. An ongoing development project in the area may affect parts of the park during any given visit. Early morning and late afternoon are the most comfortable times to visit, avoiding the peak midday heat and humidity that Pattaya's coastal areas are known for. The park is accessible from Soi Sukhumvit Pattaya 8 and has on-site parking. Lightweight, breathable clothing and sun protection are recommended, particularly for those planning to use the fitness equipment or walk the full length of the path. Opening hours are not officially listed, so checking with a local accommodation provider beforehand is a sensible precaution.

Visitor Reviews
Great for a jog/run/fitness by the sea. This marker will lead you to a parking lot. The parking lot is next to a paved park footpath and a small beach. I wouldn't swim as the water is clearly polluted (I imagine because of the Siratcha Seaport you can see in the distance. However, there are many nice shells amongst the trash. That's why this place is good for local fitness. You could easily run a 5k with a few laps. Also, photography. This place is a wonderland of rocks, debris and viewpoints of Siratcha Seaport and Northern Pattaya.
Nice park in Pattaya which stretches along the beach for maybe 1-2km long. Not many people there in the morning. There are some cafe and restaurants which were closed when I was there. They probably open in the evening and I guess the place will be more happening in the evening
an ongoing construction development of the area. nice sunset view. we spent some time cooking and eating
Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
