Manta Marina Pattaya Speedboat and Catamaran
Manta Marina operates catamaran and speedboat tours from a beachfront location on Pattaya's Beach Road, offering organised day trips to nearby islands that combine island hopping, snorkelling, and buffet dining in a single excursion. The catamaran experience in particular stands out for its spacious, uncrowded setup — a deliberate operational choice that gives passengers comfortable room throughout the journey rather than packing in maximum numbers. Visitors can expect a well-structured day out on the water, with transport, food, and snorkelling stops handled as part of the package. Reviewers consistently highlight the organisation, friendly crew, clean vessels, and quality of the onboard food. The catamaran suits those wanting a relaxed, stable ride with time to take in the scenery, while speedboat options are available for those prioritising faster transit between locations. Both cater to travellers without prior boating experience. Good to know: Manta Marina is open every day of the week from 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM, and tours can be booked in advance through their website. Booking ahead is advisable, particularly during the peak November to February dry season when demand is highest. The Beach Road location is straightforward to reach by taxi or tuk-tuk from central Pattaya. Bring reef-safe sunscreen, a waterproof bag for valuables, and a change of clothes for after snorkelling stops.

Visitor Reviews
We did the Pattaya: 3 Islands Day Tour on Catamaran with Buffet Lunch Pattaya. I have done several excursions over the years and have to say this one was one of the best. The catamaran was beautiful and appeared nearly new. Although the boat can accommodate up to 60 passengers, there were approximately 20-25 on our excursion. This left plenty of room for everyone to comfortably move about the boat. The pick-up and drop-off were efficient, timely. There were no long lines to wait anywhere. Lunch was lovely and served most of the trip if you were hungry later. Soft beverages were included and alcohol could be purchased at a reasonable price. The staff was great. Music onboard was fun with a nice surprise dance party (more fun than it sounds) at the end of the trip. I would highly recommend this excursion to anyone (except those requiring walking assistance, as the boat require steps, ladders (if snorkeling, swimming)).
Incredible day! So worth every penny. We have been on many excursions and this one was more pricey but made up for it. So well organised, easy to book. All staff were lovely, beautiful day to see all the beaches and we enjoyed the snorkelling and seeing the monkeys who were well behaved. The boat had a bar which included drinks and the food was incredible by far better than some restaurants we have had. The boat even had an inflatable slide which we loved! Couldn’t fault the day one bit
I had such a great time! It’s an amazing experience. The trip was well organised, the food was nice and the whole place was clean. I was in Serenity Boat 2, the crew were friendly and helpful. Their team leader is exceptional, very hands on, knowledgeable and funny! He made sure everyone is having fun and most importantly safe. I’ll definitely join this trip again when I’m in Pattaya and would 100% recommend this trip.

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
