Compare prices
Sitting on Soi Pattaya 13/2, PJ Hostel & Bar occupies a convenient spot in the heart of Pattaya, placing guests within easy walking distance of the beach, shops, and the city's well-known nightlife strip. The property combines budget accommodation with an on-site bar, giving it a relaxed, social atmosphere that suits independent travellers looking for a laid-back base rather than a polished hotel experience. Rooms are air-conditioned and include Wi-Fi access, and guests have noted that the location genuinely delivers on convenience. The bar area adds a communal element to the stay, though it does attract cigarette smoke that can drift into the entrance. Cleanliness has been a mixed point across visitor experiences, with some guests reporting satisfactory rooms and others encountering issues, so expectations are worth calibrating accordingly. Travellers considering PJ Hostel & Bar should be aware that booking directly or confirming reservations in advance is advisable, as at least one guest has reported an overbooking issue when booking through third-party apps. This property suits those prioritising location and value over premium amenities. The website listed under pjtransfer.com also appears to offer transfer services, so it may be worth contacting the hostel directly to confirm accommodation availability and current room conditions before arrival.

Visitor Reviews
PJ Hostel & Bar is a great little spot right in the heart of Pattaya. Super convenient location near the beach and nightlife, clean and comfortable rooms, and a really friendly, relaxed vibe. The bar downstairs makes it easy to meet people, and the staff are welcoming and helpful. Excellent value for money — would definitely stay again!
Great size room for the price AC worked and was cold. Good wifi. Cozy bed. quick walk to the beach and shops
The room wasn't clean even after I asked for a cleaning on the second day. Also not a great smell in the entrance/bar, due the smoking. The rest was OK, e the loation is very good. But the cleanliness should be the priority so I cannot give more than 3 stars.
