Little Brother Thai Restaurant - Pattaya Sai 2
Tucked along Pattaya Sai 2, this family-style Thai restaurant has earned a strong following among both residents and travellers for serving genuinely authentic Thai cuisine at mid-range prices. Reviewers frequently single it out as a standout dining experience in the city, with several noting it ranks among the best Thai food they encountered during their entire time in Thailand — high praise in a country where the bar is set exceptionally high. The setup is unpretentious and reminiscent of a classic street restaurant, but an air-conditioned indoor dining room offers a more comfortable option for those who prefer to escape the heat. The family-style format is well suited to groups wanting to order across the menu and share dishes, and the staff are noted for being friendly and approachable even when communication requires a little patience. The kitchen tends to stay busy, which regulars take as a reliable indicator of quality. Good to know: The restaurant operates virtually around the clock, seven days a week, making it a practical choice regardless of when hunger strikes. It draws a consistent crowd, so visiting during mid-afternoon lulls can mean a quieter, more relaxed meal. The location on Pattaya Sai 2 is convenient for guests staying in central Pattaya, and ordering is straightforward even without shared language — pointing at dishes works just fine.

Visitor Reviews
Google reviews range from 1 to 5 stars, and you'll understand why when you visit. While the kitchen is open, there's a cool, air-conditioned room inside where you can eat. Communication is simple just read the menu, and everyone understands. Only the most discerning people give it a 1, but based solely on taste, it's a 5. Just go and try it. If you want high-end quality at a reasonable price, go to a more expensive restaurant.
The most amazing food I tried in Thailand. And I tried alot. Look like a typical street restaurant, but dont mistake. This IS the spot for the taste of Thailand. ❤️ 5 stars for the food 5 stars for the staff 3 stars for the interior. 13 stars in total 😁

Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
